Front brake upgrade kit - coming soon

    artinist
    By artinist,
For the people who want to upgrade their brakes but not spend $1000, I am working on a kit to replace the front caliper with a 2 piston aluminum caliper that is used on the 88-96 corvettes and still use the stock rotors. I should have it done in about a month. The cost of the whole kit including the calipers should be around $400. more info will be available soon on my website.

Here are some pics of my '87 with the wheels that I polished.  I also added StarQuestRims polished centercaps.  The centercaps really do make a difference!   http://www.tristarion.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=13455#13455

    Crankcase breathing mod to block

    Boosted_One
    By Boosted_One,
Many thanks to Kevin Car for giving me the tip on this mod.     I had my machinist open up my block. If you look by the mains on 3 and 4 the webbing is cut to help the lower end breath better.   In the words of Kevin Car, and I quote:   "These extra "wings" are a leftover from a early emmision device that was driven by air pulses from the bottom of the #3 piston."   end quote     BEFORE: (Thanks to  Mike C for the picture!)   http://a4.cpimg.com/image/92/36/19817874-7d3d-02000180-.jpg
