I was just looking at the manual for a Colt VISTA, 1987 seems they are mpi, they did have a turbo colt too but it is like the c/s setup it is not mpi and there was a carb. version too.   anyway, on the mpi colt the distributor has no advance, just cap rotor and the crank sensor is under the shield below the rotor.     My question is, since you are using the magna distributor, aren't you only using this to get the crank signal?  there is a 4 lug rotor in there and the pickup and the wires com

i used stock IC pipes to make hard pipes from turbo to IC. but. i had to do some mods. cause the location of the stock air filter was in the way. when  i relocate the air filter to sit lower...the hard pipes will look better. i'll can send some pics if anyone wants to see.

    Magna Intake Questions

    By 1quickStarion,
86 Starion ESI-R, I was wondering if there is any way to use the magna intake manifold with the stock ecu, I know the car comes stock with 2 injectors but what if i got 2 more injectors and wired them in paralell with my stock injectors? I have an 86 esir so the injectors allways fire at the same time so i dont see why this wouldnt work? Please give me some info on this! Also if that is not possible what is the cheapest way to use mpi without a standalone? If any, Thanks!          Carter
