    OEM ECU removal with standalone

    UnatralyAspiratd
    By UnatralyAspiratd,
Does the stock ECU provide signals to the ETACS and/or the heater/AC?  I went to remove the harness and found theres an other connecer up behind the blower motor that goes toward the AC unit.  I cant find that connecer B-36 i think in any of the diagrams.  Flipping through some of the diagrams it looks like it does control some of that stuff too.   basically what I'm asking is can the entire ECU/harness be removed and retain ETACS/radio/heater (no AC) funtion?   Chris

    Hawk wiring questions

    88TSI_Rob
    By 88TSI_Rob,
I started labeling all the wires for the Hawk and I'm not quite clear on 2 things.   First off, the wiring diagram shows that I should have a green wire coming out of A1. This is the wire that provides the timing signal from the Hall effect sensor. My harness does not have this wire.... Is this not used or am I missing something here?   Secondly what is are the unlabled gray boxes?  There is one infront of the Hall effect pickup, the reluctor pickup, and the igniter.   Wiring up the ignition
