ok ok i know use search..tried it been there done that no such luck for my question.....i know +18 is factory spec for the 16x8" rim so im assumining my answers gonna be go with a +18 spacer lol...but anyhow im looking at a 17x8 rim with a 0 offset for front and wonder what the smallest spacer is i can get away with or is it possible to runt he "0" offset?   heres the rundown on tires etc in case theres a question on that:   Fronts: 17x8 "0" offset 4.50 backspacing with 225/45-17 tires Rears: 1

so i picked up an 89 quest tsi shp the other day for $500. according to the seller, it starts and runs fine. has a new 14b and fuel pump. when i went to go pick it up though, it would crank but no start. i think it just needed gas but i didnt feel like trouble shooting it in his drive way so i towed it home. list of things that are currently wrong w/ it:   bad rings - smokes under boost horrid wiring in the engine bay headlights were disconnected to power the fans, which went out missing AC
