  1. yeah i have both now to where they will move in the holster just guess i need that bolt out to do the job and i do have them both spread and i already p.b.'d the hell out of them lol.....thankx for all the advice guys i appreciate it. hopefully tonite it will be done quikly, then i just gotta take off that "a" arm im going to need to replace lol...
  2. gee i guess it pays to ask first huh? geez.......well i guess i'll be gettin them out tomorrow now lol....sux though as now i need to do the right hand bushings for sure and cant get that long bolt out for the a frame where it connects to the spindle.....damnit my luck anyhow.....well at least i'll get them out and that will make the guy happy but i'll still end up cutting that one side a frame as i bungered up the bushings as well as bolt and think we bent that frame so oh well lol
  3. i got all the bolts loose and they wont pop up out...ive tried heating them ive tried pressin them up out with the jack ive tried anything i can think of so any help would be appreciated? also the one side we decided the heck with it and just take the whole arm off and i was gonna take it to work and press it out but......the bolt that goes across isnt coming out as usuall lol.....so any suggestions there?
  4. He did just say that they get to 1000 degrees they start havin issues but i personally wont ever see that so good for me i guess but avg daily driven or even drag/street car they will work wonders compared to stock pads.......but this guy told me the other day that he used these makin it sound like he raced with them but now hes changin stories ya know.....sorry for any confusion etc
  5. maybe the starquest braking system is that much different then a 240's huh? cause the guy i knew that was runnin the metal masters was drifting and roadracing with them at beaverun and is a instructor there, but i do have to say his braking system is stock other then the dimpled and slotted rotors...this of course is gonna help but then again i wasnt really sayin on a completely stock setup that they were going to be top notch i just meant from what i was told they have little to no fade......just what ive read and been told.
  6. http://www.optionsauto.com/ <<<here also...many different styles for our cars....i really hated my last car with a roll cage but i may end up having to go with one with the setup im going to have
  7. im just curious as to why your getting a roll cage built? nothing wrong with it but theres some really nice durable ones available to buy and put in.
  8. Everyone tells me that the axxis metal masters are the way to go for little to no fading during heavy braking
  9. if anyone doesnt take any of the rearend monts i would like set...or if im able to still get in on it?
  10. btw i found the thread and i have the website at work....i'll post it tomorrow when i get back to work...but i contacted them to see if they still offered them at that price man i hope so cause there costin me 15% over that thru work + tax lol
  11. THATS A HECK OF A DEAL CAUSE THATS DEALER COST ON THEM SRY FOR CAPS
  12. thats kewl im actually talkin with a guy locally to maybe save another 5 bux off of that...maybe maybe a little more...but thats gonna be on a group purchase deal and im waitin on a answer from him on just how many pairs would need ordered to get that low....and of course there the agx part number 765016 that everyones usein for the mr2 strut conversion but it really brings the price into more of a reality i mean with your kit and all even if poeple are in the gp for the lowerin springs they would be looking at a "fully" adjustable suspension for 715. total thats everything one needs to do their adjustable suspension....i mean other then sway bars and shyt but heck for a tunable suspension thats not bad at all....frickin teins or any other brand would be in the 1200+ market for this setup....may be 10% better but still doesnt warrent 500 bux better lol. what sux is before i got this offer for these so cheap i ended up buyin the gr2's lol my loss. but who knows down the road or if price is cheap enough lol.
  13. what is the cheapest anyones seen thes go for shipped to your door?
  14. now keep in mind this is a shp suspension.....the reason im asking is someones interested in buying the front stock shp struts along with the complete rear struts. id like to find some non-shp housings for my own project but im not spending more then 20-30 bux for the housings and so far all i got quoted was like 100+ shipping and at that i'll keep my stock ones and cut/weld them......anyhow so is this true for shp too?
