Ok, please bare with me if I messed this up but I have this turbo that I purchased a few months back that I will not be using.   I was told it was a 17C with low miles on it. It has an extrememly small amount of shaft play, practically not noticeable at all. Everything looked really good when I got it except that when i removed the exhaust housing on it, the exhaust wheel fins were damaged.   Anyhow, the exhaust wheel and housing are bigger than the standard td05. I just finished installing the coil overs on the quest & thought I'd share these.I did the set up like Andy W suggeted, except I welded both sides of the 2&1/8 sleeve to the 2&1/4 exhaust flange before putting it on the shock in place of the factory perch. I used a sawzall to remove the factory perch's, making sure not to cut threw into the shock itself. I am not finding a clear description of how to do an ignitor/knock box upgrade from '87 to '88/'89.   I found this... but not sure....     1. Which wires are not used and do really just match up the rest?   2. Can't I just splice in the old '87 connector to the new box and just plug it in? I have read that I HAVE to have the '88/'89 connector.     Thanks, BP
