Ok, please bare with me if I messed this up but I have this turbo that I purchased a few months back that I will not be using. I was told it was a 17C with low miles on it. It has an extrememly small amount of shaft play, practically not noticeable at all. Everything looked really good when I got it except that when i removed the exhaust housing on it, the exhaust wheel fins were damaged. Anyhow, the exhaust wheel and housing are bigger than the standard td05. I tried to test fit this int

My buddy just had his talon rear ended bad, so i told him that i would buy all his mods off his car because he is scraping the car. The only thing i dont need is the turbo so im selling it. Coil Over install & mod.'d perch's

I just finished installing the coil overs on the quest & thought I'd share these.I did the set up like Andy W suggeted, except I welded both sides of the 2&1/8 sleeve to the 2&1/4 exhaust flange before putting it on the shock in place of the factory perch. I used a sawzall to remove the factory perch's, making sure not to cut threw into the shock itself. These leaves the weld on the housing where the new flange can rest.The factory shocks were copletely gone, wouldnt even return afte
ignitor/knock box upgrade from '87 to '88/'89

I am not finding a clear description of how to do an ignitor/knock box upgrade from '87 to '88/'89. I found this... but not sure.... 1. Which wires are not used and do really just match up the rest? 2. Can't I just splice in the old '87 connector to the new box and just plug it in? I have read that I HAVE to have the '88/'89 connector. Thanks, BP
