Stuck fuel filter

Hello starquest community, I am new to this car and my 87 been sitting for awhile. I planned on flushing the whole fuel system, replacing fuel filters, testing the pump, blowing out the old lines, and putting it all back together. My bolts on top and bottom will not budges and causes the whole filter to spin in the bracket, could you guys give me any wisdom or tricks. I had considered just putting in my own system but I wouldn't know where to start looking for parts and fittings. Preferably I wo
fuel gauge unit replacement

Anybody know where to buy a fuel gauge unit? Mine doesn't read any ohm readings no matter where I place the ohm reader. I don't really want to replace the entirety of the wiring all the way to the dash but is there a kit to do some mild splicing that's been found yet? Maybe a similar sensor from a different car that I can use? Let me know what you guys find.

Wow it’s been over a decade since I’ve been on this forum! Wasn’t very active back then anyways. But glad to see it’s still alive!
As some of you know, through other social medias like FB and Instagram. That we have been working on producing composite parts for the Starquest community. As of right now, we’ve got the header panel and headlight covers made.
We’re finishing up molds for the 83 hood scoop and vents, interior door trim pieces, and have been working towards making an 83 hood
