Cincinnati parts for pickup!
By MGegner,
I have (2)85-87 rear bumper supports.
I have a rear end that sat outside with no drain plug. Has 1 good 4 bolt axle. Gears may be fine.
(2) driveshafts that sat outside. U-joints seems to turn fine. I think they could easily be reused.
(1) driveshaft carrier thingy? Connects driveshaft to trans. Spins good but is rusty and was left outside.
Let me know! I don't really have room for these bigger parts. 513-615-2three1seven
Rear Caliper
By Hopeful noob,
Good afternoon everyone. This car never ceases to let me know how terrible I am at working on cars.
Have a question on assembling the rear caliper. I am trying to follow Kev’s guide, but it isn’t working.
The seventh picture has the pin and lever and he says push the key towards the bottom of the caliper. Assume that means towards the uninstalled bearing, and away from the bleeder port laterally in the picture, but that does nothing to align the pin to the installed bearing.
Unable to Reply to Topic I started
By Hopeful noob,
Good afternoon everyone.
I started a topic about the SOS manuals and trying to find a copy, either zip or link. I was directed to the way back machine, but I am unable to find the reply button anywhere to further that conversation.
I am having some questions on the rear calipers also, so want to get this figured out so I can attempt to do better on them.
thank you!
