Windshield Clip and Trim replacement / installation

For the past 6 years since I "completed" the restoration of my car I have avoided dealing with the windshield trim pc that runs along the top of the car. To be fair, I installed it when I put the car back together, but after the first test drive it blew off on the highway and got completely mangled. Power steering hose on right frame rail

Power steering hose on right frame rail, covered in a rubber sleeve and clamps at the front towards radiator. It has a high pressure end at a bracket bolted to frame. My question is is this line under high pressure because it has a clamp. I would like to replace only the rubber portion with bulk p/s hose and clamps. Would this be okay? I already replaced the high pressure p/s line that has pressure fittings. Below is the replacement and it is clamped at both ends on the right frame rail side.
