Needed, stock injector flow test results
Funky Phil replied to ucw458's topic in Advanced Virtual Mechanic
Take note of the 43psi test pressure. Thats also gonna throw off how they perform on a stock setup. -
what do you need? Pin outs?

If you need more throw, shim the fork pivot ball. http://www.sqperformance.com/forum/index.php?topic=12.0

Turbo replacement options?
Funky Phil replied to BoostedStroker's topic in Newbie Question and Answers
This motor NEEDS the 06 hotwheel, so whatever you go with, upgrading your turbine wheel is a must. http://www.sqperformance.com/forum/index.php?topic=23.0 -
why do you thing you need more throw? Tell us more about your "stage 3 clutch". You could have a warped fidanza friction plate, pressure plate, or disk. A slipping clutch puts out a LOT of heat. Possibly a mismatched setup not giving enough air gap. damaged input shaft or pilot bearing not allowing good engine-trans disengagement. Replace that bent rod and we can start from there.

Anytime I can purchase American made I am happy.

Hey, thanks for the link!

I never said anything about a manifold. It was piping and couplers and some other crap. I told them to cancel it. They said I would have to reject it and pay restocking.

I just like talking crap. Except for BOHO. Im 100% serious about the things I will do to his mouth! Most engines can suprise. Thats maybe what I like about the out dated, under powered, unsupported G54B. I was at a shop a day ago inquiring about using their dyno and when he asked what I had, I said, "just a crappy 4 banger" he laughed and said, "cant be that bad" he asked more and when I told him what it made and what it runs he laughed and said, thats better than 90% of the cars I see. talked about SRT-4's, Mustangs, Supras, 240's and other V8's. Then I told him it was a single stick 8 valve head and he laughed in amazement. All well built cars are cool as long as they are DIFFERENT.

If you dont want: tracking numbers that will never update, people that wait a week to tell you they are out of something you already purchased wait another week for you to call and find them still sitting on it before they ship be told it will get bumped to 3-day and then 4 days later still not have it, then DONT BUY FROM TREADSTONE. If when you find this out and would prefer your money go to a better business but dont want to have to pay a restocking fee, NEVER BUY FROM TREADSTONE. But if your probably gonna do it anyways because its cheap. And say, "but I never have trouble with them" then why the heII are you reading the feedback forum?

Look into welding processes for stainless. Its where most everyone fails.

mighty max turbo upgrade help
Funky Phil replied to boostinmini's topic in Advanced Virtual Mechanic
I just mean the turbine wheel. Like you have a 12a td05. You could get a bigger td06 turbine wheel or even have your td05 clipped. -

mighty max turbo upgrade help
Funky Phil replied to boostinmini's topic in Advanced Virtual Mechanic
Adjustable wastegate? If so, you can try loosening it up to allow flapper to hang open. Or maybe have the turbine wheel clipped. Are you looking to do a turbo swap or.....? Otherwise, consider a hotside upgrade like a TD06 or td06slh. Not only should it spool a tad slower, it will also make more power and allow the engine to breathe better at higher rpm. Rarely hear people asking for less spool. You could also try a 1g recirculated bypass valve like on the eclipses. -
tuning spark\ignition advance?
Funky Phil replied to CaliConquestAlex's topic in MPI/Standalone Trials and Tribulations
Are you monitoring EGT? Ignition retard in the lower "transition" boost regions will spool the turbo, but at the cost of A LOT of heat. More cruise ignition will give you better throttle response. A different cam will also wake it up and would be something I would take a good hard look at. -
Now go run you a 14!

Yes it was a 9 sec car with the 2.6. Went 2.0l and beyond
