  5. Washer bottle with good water level float switch?
  6. OK, Question: Why back at the Vacation Lodge? I thought everyone liked the hotel from the last couple years better>>>>Mountain Breeze Motel, I think They (Vacation Lodge) treated us like red headed step children the last time we were there and charged everyone different rates based on who you asked and when you called.... Just asking? RG
  7. Bluecook and I knew PF was not in the cards this year so I tried to avoid even reading the threads about it. Really missed seeing everyone. It appears there was a good turnout and everyone had a great time. There is light at the end of the tunnel for Bluecook and college. He will be graduating this year. YAHOO!!! My wallet says "Halleluiah!" Hopefully our schedules will allow us to see you guys next year. Hope everyone made it home safe and sound. Later, RG
  8. David, Do you have a burgundy right rear speaker shelf, 88/89 would be best? Thanks RG
  9. I need a right rear speaker shelf from a burgundy interior car, preferably an 88 or 89 with shoulder harness. Anyone have one laying around? Thanks, RG
  10. Hello everyone! Bluecook and I, unfortunately could not come because of his school schedule and my work. We were hoping to possibly pull it off at the last minute, but it wasn't in the cards. First one we have missed since 2004 and hate we could not work it out. BUT, it looks like it was a good turn-out and everyone had great time. So we look forward to next year!!! Also, hope everyone made it home safely....... RG
  11. Any rust in the frame rails? What is the story behind the lack of a title? RG
  12. Hey Chad,I sent you a PM but have not received a response. I need the speedo cover w/switches: $15 1@ Black Gage hood with side switches, couple small scratches, untested but presumed good shipped to 29036. Let me know how much and thanks,
  13. Will the distributor work with this manifold?
  14. Is the AC control head in good working order and are the mounting tabs not broken? I will take it if the price is decent. RG
  15. Be careful the kits listed by wrngwae are not correct for the 88-89 transmission. They have a doubleroller main brg and the input shaft brg has a small lip machined on It rather than a snap ring. Here is a link to one outfit that has the correct kit, http://www.drivetrain.com/parts_catalog/manual_transmission_overhaul_kits/mitsubishi_km4_and_km5_rwd_overhaul_kit.html The price may suprise you but the main bearing is over $100.00 by itself from Mitsubishi. Also the retainer for the main bearing is no longer available so you can expect to have yours repaired or a new one machined. Been there and already done it. Hope this helps and good luck. RG
  16. You should never install used rocker arms on a new camshaft. I would only try this if you have the capability to polish a new, flat surface on the rocker tip where it touches the cam.........You are asking for premature wear, period. Rollers, maybe, but not flat tappets. Also, mechanical rocker arms can be used on the exhaust or intake. Hydraulic arms can be interchanged to a point! The point being, as discussed in the link to professor quest discussion about this, the oil holes have to line up with the holes in the shaft at some point during the rocker movement. I think the #1 exhaust will work on the #2 or #4 intake, something like that.... RG
  17. Great seeing everyone again and meeting more new club members. For those of you we did not get to say "so-long and see you next year", consider it said NOW! BlueCook and I took the long way home like Corvette and road the Dragon. Had to deal with a little traffic and hot temperatures but it was still a great ride. I attempted to take some video of a portion of our Dragon run and will get BlueCook to post it somewhere everyone can see. Ultimately we made it home without any problems. Sorry you guys had issues but glad you made it home safely...... Also, it sounds like we are going to have to put a little effort towards finding a fuel pump that will tolerate the heat and ethanol, soon to be 15% allowable!!! Thanks to our illustrious politicians. Not my first choice of adjectives, but trying to keep it clean. LOL Later,
  18. Looks like Bluecook and I should be there Friday around 1. Hope everyone has safe travels...........Depends on what time I can get him out of bed. LOL See you there! RG

  20. Looks like this year has been a busy and tough one for a large number of guys. Bluecook has exams and I am still dealing with the finishing touches of a house remodel. We have some rear suspension work to do to Bluecook's car, before we can race it again. So hopefully we will see you in PF. You guys don't have too much fun without us! I know Jimmy and his wife will take good care of everyone. Later,
  21. Be sure to check the fiber ball on the shifter. Make sure it is in good shape. Your jumping out of gear problem, 1st and 3rd, require the same movement of all the levers and shift rods. If it is not fully engaging, it will jump out of gear. RG
