  1. There's a thread in the StarQuest FAQs section: http://www.starquestclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=28110 And another in the Flatbody Mechanic section: http://www.starquestclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=72079
  2. I've ordered parts from Dad on three separate occasions. The most recent was for a turbo gasket set, OEM replacement valve springs, and turbo coolant return line. Prompt shipping (got them in three business days), and products were as shown. I look forward to buying more from Dad  -Paul N.
  3. I bought a turbo off of Garrett. Product was as described, communication was great and so was the packaging of the turbo. I would definitely do business with again -Paul N.
  4. Someone's been using the Babel Fish translator :fishing:
  5. Angry StarQuest gods carrying out justice.
  6. Found this one on page 6: TPS/ISC adjustment Pre 1987
  7. I've seen quite a couple of them around town (and it being a smallish town). In one lot there were two or three side-by-side. Then further up the street, my high school mentor (he let me rebuild my engine at his shop) had a really nice white one behind his shop, but the owner picked it up Then a black one that was for sale that I haven't seen any more... After getting good with my Starion, I wouldn't mind taking in a Z
  8. How about a cultural greeting that isn't normally seen in your area? :confused0024:
  9. There's also: http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z110/calavera89/My%20Mitsu%20Starion/MVC-625F-1.jpg http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z110/calavera89/My%20Mitsu%20Starion/MVC-622F-1.jpg

  11. 12. Probably the best attempt to win the youth vote I've seen so far... send your wife to Japan to become a drifter...
  13. Got a fan shroud from JohnnyWadd, took longer than expected, but I paid through money order so it's understandable. I think USPS decided to take their sweet-a time delivering it to me (got it three weeks after he said he had sent it out). Communication was great and product was as described. Would do business with again. Thanks again -Paul N.
  14. I bought a 1g mas w/ pigtail and TPS. Good communication and fast shipping. Would do business with again. Thanks -Paul N.
  15. Damn... I remember that was one of the first StarQuest pictures I had ever seen.... Better version (though, with the plate blank) http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z110/calavera89/StarQuests/1012515236_starion.jpg
  16. I'd say just keep it. Who knows, your situation might change and you might find a better place to keep it. Then you'll wish you never sold it. Some time ago, a guy from my high school (that I didn't even know; apparently he had self-appointed himself Drift King after watching Tokyo Drift) showed up at my door asking if I would sell him my car. The though of selling it never even crossed my mind at all. I had to repeat myself, some three times, that I was not going to sell it and that I had no selling price set (at least not one that can be matched with its sentimental value)...
  17. I think it's nearing 3 grand, but I'd rather not look at it that way. If I plan on keeping this car as a hobby/passion, I'd rather look at it as time spent...
  18. I think that one also lights up blue. My 85.5 has the four button clock w/ blue lighting...
  19. Is that a rickshaw near the side markers? I'm tired and I might be seeing things...
  20. Tried gluing it back with epoxy, but the first time I tried turning it (gently) it broke. This is actually the center spiral: http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z110/calavera89/ZZ080903_153733.jpg That little gear at the top left is the only thing that's attached to the nob. The center spiral fits onto it, and that cap gets screwed into the little gear, clamping it down (the silver cap also restricts you from screwing out the spiral from the bottom which keeps you from taking apart the whole assembly, but since the little gear thing is already broken everything should just plop out together). http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z110/calavera89/ZZ080903_153802.jpg So when you're putting it all back together, fit the spiral over the little gear. Then you put the whole assembly back together and last, you put that silver cap back on the center spiral and tighten the screw (but doing this might cause the little gear to snap off again)... http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z110/calavera89/ZZ080903_154327.jpg Or you could just buy a good one off of someone...
  21. Same thing happened to my old one. Inside, attached to the nob, is a spiral. As you spin it, it forces another outer spiral to elevate the square, that the plate where the window latches on to is screwed on, up or down. What happened with my old one was that the center spiral, that's attached to the nob, broke. You're not supposed to tighten it too much. I'll post pictures. It's no big deal to take it apart. Just a couple screws. Edit: http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z110/calavera89/ZZ080902_224524.jpg http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z110/calavera89/ZZ080902_225449.jpg http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z110/calavera89/ZZ080902_224559.jpg (crappy pictures, I know, but it's the best I can do with this old pda...)
  22. Small update. Finally finished rebuilding the throttle body and got it mounted Saturday the weekend before and replaced all the screws with hex-head screws and tested/cleaned the injectors. Wirebrushed the intake and TB as best I could (looks a lot better than before ). Also got a EGR block-off plate from BOHO (thanks again). Tomorrow, we're gonna put the vacuum lines back on (leaving only the heater). Also took out the A/C and electric radiator fans. I got a flex-fan ( http://www.flex-a-lite.com/auto/html/7-blade-flex.html ). Just waiting for the fan shroud to get here so I can put it all in. I also ordered a mechanical boost gauge, oil pressure, water temp., and digital a/f gauge that doubles as a volt meter, from ProSport. I'm hoping that by the time everything is done, my only worry will be all the black widows that have taken home under my car ---------------------------- On a side note. My brother is telling me I can have our father's truck, a Ford Ranchero, if I want, so I can have something more reliable. It has a 302 V8 that has around 40k on it. Hopefully, if I do decide to get it, I'll have it looking as nice, if not better, than: http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z110/calavera89/swedford.jpg
  23. I gave photography in GT4 a shot. http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z110/calavera89/GT4/IMG0037.pnghttp://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z110/calavera89/GT4/IMG0039.png http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z110/calavera89/GT4/IMG0041.pnghttp://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z110/calavera89/GT4/IMG0067.png http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z110/calavera89/GT4/IMG0083.pnghttp://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z110/calavera89/GT4/IMG0089.png http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z110/calavera89/GT4/IMG0050.pnghttp://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z110/calavera89/GT4/IMG0081.png http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z110/calavera89/GT4/IMG0079.pnghttp://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z110/calavera89/GT4/IMG0080.png http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z110/calavera89/GT4/IMG0026.pnghttp://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z110/calavera89/GT4/IMG0032.png http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z110/calavera89/GT4/IMG0057.pnghttp://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z110/calavera89/GT4/IMG0059.png
