Sweet video Robert. The roads explain its why you so low. Out here in NY city roads the only way to ride your slam cars is on a flat truck. other than that you leave everything behind stuck on a pot hole or something.

Nice videos!

What are the setting for the videos? 640x480 or 320x240? 30 or 15 fps? Ive had a SD750 for a while now and just picked up a SD300 and SD600 on Saturday for the exact same purpose.

Also, Where is the Drifting,...MR. DRIFTABILITY!?!?!?!?!?!

<_>

640x480 30FPS, I used editing software to make it fancy though. These cameras take pretty damn good video, I've used them a lot. We have the ABILITY to DRIFT, doesn't mean have to do it all the time; besides, I didn't want to cross into the D Dimension by drifting too hard and going into Overdrift. I hear everyone drifts everywhere all the time, it's impossible to drive straight.

That road used to be muuuuuuch crappier. It actually still is, in the video I'm just driving on the good part. Haha, there's quite a few roads I don't drive on.

the only problem I saw was a lack of clutch kicking....

LOL... there's no drifting... in daylight... on a public computer generated course, that I have to drive through every day, with my computer generated neighbors outside. If you look close you can see some people outside while I'm tearing up the road.

Night time drift, probably.

Dude you must be in the wrong parts of mass, I live here and tear it up like that all the time on equally great winding roads..

very impressed. thank you for sharing. what muffler you use?

I've actually got two mufflers on the car, up front is a 3" high flow racing muffler from summit (similar to a Flowmaster 40) and out back is my super saweet ebay dual N1 style "racing" muffler that I put on the car when the stock one fell apart.

After a highway pull, the muffler is half a muffler now:

  • 4 weeks later...

Anyone tried to trim (resurface) the actual rim in order to keep the 225/50's in the front with the 16x8 non SHP (rears)

Maybe a trimming 10 mm's....thats about .39"

I was brain storming on that idea....

maybe at least 5mm...

So I got my hands on a DSLR finally... sorta... borrowed from my mom haha. It's just a Nikon D5000 with the kit lens. I'd have gotten a Canon myself, but this is still better than my modified firmware point and shoots haha.

Maybe when I figure out how to set it up, I'll get some better pics... and dry the car off first... and buff the paint... and wait for better lighting... ha.
