What do you mean? When I hit a bump I get a bit of resonance with the interior pieces, but that is expected with a 20 year old car.

I can drive 70 mph on the highway and have a comfortable conversation with my girlfriend as long as the silencer is in the megan racing muffler. (That sounds really good btw)

Nice Job Casey!

I'm sure a lot of time went into that! Well worth it!

I like it!

Dad

thx randy. More importantly the engine is running great! (thanks to your parts of course ;) ) Can't have slick suspension without a running engine.

  • 2 weeks later...
I contacted MK1 he no new units for sale and did not know when he would. did his last GP coilover setup sell out!! any how I want to fab my own just point me in the right direction to buy the parts.

china? I believe the strut housings are bought from a manufacturer that also builds shocks for other company's. The strut housing is then fabricated in house at MK1's shop. I don't think these kinds of parts are availabe from some sort of catalog. I thought he was going to sell them for retail on ebay like he has done on some of his previous GP's.

Its been some time since the last BP, is it that hard to get parts to build this setup if the strut is from china. this seems to be a copy of the coilover system a nissan club in AZ is using.
