logikfive
18x9 Mustang FR500 +24MM with 265/30/18 tire with a 2" adapter spacer. IMO it's too much. Should have went with a 1.5" spacer and it would have been perfect. The 2" is okay if you like the edge of the wheel right on the lip of the quarter panel. I prefer mine to be in the wheelwell a bit more so I'll have mine machined down to either 1.5" or 1.75" at some point. But for those of you that like "flush".. 2" does it with a Mustang wheel. http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w119/logikfive/1425376_10152080694472630_1215636769_o_zps222e6b62.jpg Front is sitting with a 5/16" spacer (Didn't get the rear spacers in the mail in this pic so it's full on battleship in the rear)http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w119/logikfive/1988%20Chrysler%20Conquest%20TSi/021_zps5a6cd665.jpg I thought I posted my specs on my black Conquest with the 17x9 and 17x10.5 Cobra R's, but I browsed through the thread and couldn't find it. Specs on those are obviously 17x9 +24mm front w/ 245/40/17 and 17x10.5 +24mm (I believe) rear with 275/30/17s's. Front has 1/4" spacers and rear has 1.5" adapters. Rolled fender camber, I just mounted some 205/50 on rear 8s and they are rubbing on the fount of the car. I need to get some spacers for the rear to move them out towards the fender a bit. RonnieJ
Pulled my fenders and camber up front. Rear rubs sometimes on really hard bumps
383chevelle
Cool deal I guess that is what I am going to have to do. I am going to roll the lips to get some clearance and add some camber and see if that is enough. If not I will start looking into ho to pull the fenders. Also thanks for the response. Those Do Lucks are about the only after market wheel I think I would consider and as they are no longer available I will be sticking with stock. This height and stance are perfect IMO, thanks for the post and specs. Where did the spacers come from?

patra_is_here
have to make the three piece if you want to do that. which is a whole other level of machining and tig welding.
RonnieJ
I've already looked into it. Since it's already a stepped lip it would be a double step. Problem is turning 2 piece welded to 3 piece. Not a big issue but I don't don't want bolts. When it's all said and done I could just get a set CCWs built to my spec cheaper Edited April 14, 2014 by RonnieJ
patra_is_here
yup. i mean, you could just lathe out the center, weld in a 1/2" thick aluminum around the center, and then be able to use 17" stepped barrels. at least if you wanted to retain factory style (which i did for this build)
Convette
I've already looked into it. Since it's already a stepped lip it would be a double step. Problem is turning 2 piece welded to 3 piece. Not a big issue but I don't don't want bolts. When it's all said and done I could just get a set CCWs built to my spec cheaper exactly what I just did. They quoted me a rediculous price to set up my HRE's to 18s For less I got CCW's.
