patra_is_here
its crazy those meisters have that much lip and you're running a 40mm spacer. run no spacers and get em re-lipped and be the king of deep dish!
conquestador89
^^^wheels are low disk faces for max lip...cost a lot the relip/rebarrel cause they're 2 piece...its lip and other is face/barrel which are welded...I picked up a set of work vskfs that'll be relip/rebarreled so I won't need spacers... conquestador89
^^not too sure since I kinda knew what offset I needed so didn't waste time on fitting them without spacers

383chevelle
well I know it would be a blatant copy of venable's car but they look so good that I am thinking about these. Is there any way the fronts will fit without major surgery? Have D2s with camber plates in the rear.http://www.ebay.com/itm/18x10-18X12-ROTA-P-45R-2-3-5X114-3-20-FLAT-BLACK-WHEEL-FIT-G35-G37-350Z-370Z-/130909415108?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1e7acf26c4&vxp=mtr This would be insane looking with the offset front and rear. conquestador89
probably would have to do alot of hammering to make them fit and camber to fit 12s in the front
D_Venable
those are 10 's front and 12 rears, not 12's all around. you'll need at least a 30mm spacer out back, I have a 33mm and a 295/30 on the rear, with about 3° of camber, it JUST tucks in the folded over lip (no pulling, just folded over). Up front you'll probably need at least a 15mm spacer to clear the strut. Crazy Quest is running an 18x10 +12 with a slip on 5mm spacer (+7 combined). I haven't bought the 18x10's for the front yet, I only have the 12's right now. but I'm gonna probably run a 20-25mm spacer once I do get them (probably won't be till next year), along with a 245/35 tire. But my plan is to experiment with coloring on them. So copy away by all means
383chevelle
I was hoping to not have to tub the front which it sounds like I wouldn't have to do. I think they would look great in a bronze color on my olive grey starion. I think it would be a year before I could afford the tires for the darn things though . I could believe what some of the tires that size cost. I was thinking 295/30 on the rear which I see is what you have then 255/30 or 35 on the front. I was also thinking of flaring the arches just a touch, like the rear of conquestador, to give a bit more clearance and it looks nice.Have to see what kind of financial aid school decides to give me for the summer. They give that aid to you for car parts right? Edited May 24, 2013 by 383chevelle
D_Venable
I got lucky on those 295's, found them on craigslist, only a couple hundred miles on them for $150 for the pair. You can't even buy one tire that size for that.

It's less an issue of the wheel well being able to take the tire and more an issue of clearing suspension, and stearing parts, and the inside frame rails when turning. patra_is_here
wheels completely coarse sandblasted, all color and texture equalized due to the process . raw aluminum then clearcoated. http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5470/9008471411_2b576afe6d.jpg http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5458/9008473059_d6a9dc33ef.jpg

You can't even buy one tire that size for that.yes that size is pricy. cheapest I saw is around $170, but if you go with 285/30s, they are only $110 each for these federal 595s which are pretty good tires http://www.onlinetires.com/products/vehicle/tires/federal/285%252F30-18+federal+595+evo+97y.html
27kquest
What size spacers do I need, not looking for a ton of camber... I've got 18x9 +25 in the front and 18x10.5 +20 in the rear. I have d2's and rear camber plates if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance, I'll post pics as soon as they're on

Measure stack of washers and get adapter that size. WIth that size and offset your going to want bolt on adapters not spaces also.
farrk007
question for most of you guys with 5-lug wheels, are those adapters or a true 5-lug swap.....i'm asking cos I might be picking one up(quest) and just want to wrap my head around all the parts i'll need. thanks. Think this thread was started as the show off your rims type thread not a Q/A thread. You don't "need" to run adapters, but unfortunatly we run a funky offset (back spacing) so unless your willing to pay for custom rims, or have a 2 or 3 peice rim put together to the offset you need most of us have just said screw it and bought adaptors. They are adapting the same bolt pattern to the same bolt patern they just move the mounting face outward. If you run the stock rims you got no issue.
