i want to say thanks to newlogics in san pablo for hooking me up with this car. its an 87 shell, has a 4g64 already in and a custom aluminum radiator. i havent deicided if im going to keep the 4g64 or put in my g54b. well see. i really didnt plan on having it road ready for at least 2 years, even before i got the other motor. but the body is straight for the most part, no rust, looks like they got into a fender bender with the l/r quarter panel and l/f fender too. but all in all, its gonna be a good project, and i really wanted to say thanks to newlogics for helping me out.

oh ya, it aint green yet, but i want it to be forest green like my very first one. so ill just stick with the name.

well, like i said i want the paint to be forest green. imma do doorjams and engine bay flat black. havent quite decided on the interior, but if i do, i want to the tan leather interior. thanks for the offer jack, but im really into the 88/89 style seats. then i really think imma stick with the 4g64. and also, i really dont plan anything soon, 2 years at least. of course ill post pics and what not along the way.

i know, i remember. they gave me the shell, motor, and radiator. they were gonna take the motor out, but got lazy and said i could have it. i sold the gunmetal one a couple weeks back. guy came from utah and drove it home. kinda sad, wish i still had my car, or a running sq at least. patience is key though i guess.

no. everything is the same. imagine that i just moved everything straight over to the passenger side, which is more or less what i did exactly. you can see in the pics, the ignition is still on the right side and the turn signals are still on the left side. like i said, im doing a write up and dont want to post anything until it is complete. the steerening column has a good amount of support right now, but i want to make a better support bracket for it for safety reasons. then all i need are to get brake/clutch lines. other than the dash, the conversion will be done after those things.

Thats Awesome man, tight work!

RHD=Freaking cool! Last summer I helped a friend drive a Silvia back from Phoenix, to S. Florida, the rhd took a little getting used to but it was really fun to drive, and fun looking at people looking at us funny.

At one point I was driving next to a RHD Cherokee mail Jeep, the woman driving it looked confused.

Later he got a Skyline, it really turned heads.

sorry man. no updates. i had finals, then christmas, then new years, and now im moving again. i thought that i was gonna have to get rid of it too. but im not. ill find somewhere to keep her. gotta get rid of the 4g64 though and some other parts that i have stored here. ill start working on her again maybe mid jan. like i said, i dont want it on the road in less than two years. gonna take alot of time with this. ill keep you all posted though.

with the break in the rain and my need to move the car to a new garage, i got the break master moved over, break resovoir mounted, break lines in, clutch line in, fluids bled, and steering support in. so breaks are fully functional now as well as the clutch and steering. as soon as i get it garaged, gonna start taking body panels off and start working on the motor, finally.

i am SO doing the RHD conversion when i hit the powerball.

im guessing powerball is like lottery? im doing this conversion with all original parts. the only things i bought was one break line, i was able to reuse all old lines, i got new ones, but when i found i didnt need them, i just returned them all but one. oh, i also bought some hardware to support the steering column. i know ill have to buy some more stuff cause i want to make a dash, but that wont be for a while. but im saying is the conversion is pretty cheap to do. just time consuming.
