I'm interested in 1 CF 1983 style hood, but would prefer a CF late model hood (no vents or scoops) if available. Please pm or email whether this is possible.

Thanks!

I read all of 101PROPOSE's replies to this thread & viewed the ebay auction prior to commenting. I figured the more interest shown the better our chance of getting what we want... late model stock style!

$700 + $150 S/H is a lot of cake for a hood that doesn't come with a morally loose hard bodied table dancer, LOL.

My hat's off to 101PROPOSE for producing what looks like a good & sturdy part while making an honest buck. Maybe when things slow down in early spring 2007 he'll have enough time & customers interested in a carbon fiber run of the understated yet sleek stocker hood. Fingers crossed...

Yep, making it look ugly.

simply matter of opinion... To me a 83 hood on the right color car with the 88 89 one piece dam looks friggin SWEEEEET. but to each his own, and to all a good night holy crap I've been on here too long tonight

Yea, I'm in for the stocker. They stop making the 83 hood for a reason.

Hey, I'm curious as to why the 83 hood was discontinued after one year? Is it doing something negative to the car?

The car critics from the magazines bashed the 83 hood and the turbo logos on the side when the car was tested in 83. Mitsu listened and changed alot for 84.

I think the '83 CF hood would look pretty slick on my car. Part of the reason I painted it blue was b/c I think the black hood would look good on the car. I want one, but the car's down for a while.

101 has these hoods for sale seperately. If he does another group purchase for these on here then that could help other people to make them a little cheaper this time. I am interested in the hood and will get one after I finish my engine build. :D

update - Here are some pics of my 83 CFH from 101purpose group offering:

The hood is connected to the stock hinges also to the hood latch/cable - though I'm using hood pins to make sure nothing happens -
