hey i just found out my fuel line is leaking so i need one asap. It is the one that connects to the top of the tbi and supplies fuel to the injectors.

thanks ill check that out. hopefully it is that cuz i have a friend who has an extra fpr.

how can i check to c if the fpr diaphram is leaking? i know it cant be the injectors cuz i send them to be flowed and cleaned to witch hunter and they said where good.

hey guys my car was sitting for a week with out being turned on. I took it out for a drive everything was going fine until i turned it off and went to turn it on again it wouldnt turn on. The only way i was able to turn it on was to step fully on the gas pedal and turn the ignition. When i got home i turned it off and tryed to turn it on and same problem but this time it was harder to turn it on and little smoke came out. When i went to turn it on the next day it turned on fine but when i went for a drive and turned it off same problem. When it's turned on it idles fine and runs normal. i know its not the injectors becuase they were sent to witch hunter to be cleaned and they said they were good. I dont know what it could be.

ok guys i finally got a chance to put the working injectors in and changed the spark plugs. i went to turn on the car and it started smoking. i had to keep it accelerated cuz it would turn off if i let go of the gas. it keep on somking so i decided to turn it off and turn it back on again and it i didnt wanna start. i checked the new plugs and they where black and wet. i heard it could be the coolant temp sensor but i dont know where that is located. im kinda of a noob mechanic lol. since i guess my injectors are good im going to send them to which hunter like you guys recomended. i dont know whats going on with this car please help.

i just found out my injectors are bad i think they are leaking. I am going to try some that work off of my friends running car to make sure this is the problem, but if i need to get new ones which ones should i get. I was looking at FuelInjectorclinic and Trilogy Turbos. FIC has OEM for 225.00 n upgrade for 265.00. Trilogy has 650/950 or 850/850 for 225.00. What are the difference between each? I dont know if i should go OEM or get upgraded ones. I have an 88 rebuilt motor with a 12a on stock boost but plan on maybe going big 16g around august, also once i get everything running good ill probably raise the boost on the 12a. so i dont want to get an OEM pair if they are not going to work good with the big 16g and i dont want to get an upgraded pair if it is going to be too much for the 12a. This is my daily driver.

are the injectors stock? how much for both?

I took my tranny to change the rear end gasket and i would like to change the tranny oil. what oil should i use?Its a 5 speed tranny.

well im gonna try to change the mounts cuz its easier. hopefully that will get ride of the vibration.

motor mounts are from the stedbani GB and the pistons are wiesco pistons 20 over and rods are the ones that DAD sells. the vibration is really bad inside the car.

i put the balance shaft removal kit on my car and got it balanced now the car vibrates like crazy. what could cause it to vibrate so much did they balance it wrong or was the kit put on wrong? when i took the parts to get balanced the guy said he only needed the flywheel, pressure plate, and the crank, is that all that is needed?

Hey guys i just got new radiator and my friend told me about this product called water wetter he says it lowers ur cars temp. He told me to get 2 bottles and mix them with distilled water in my radiator with no anitfreeze thats what he uses in his 5.0 mustang. Will that be safe for a street car with no antifreeze? Has anybody ever used this stuff? does it work? thanks

The smoke is kinda white. it barley smoke on idle and more when you accelerate it. i will try to get a vid up either tonight or tomorrow

Hey guys i bought an 88 starion like 5 months ago with a rebuilt engine. he had put wisco pistons, tim c cam, msd, 1g mas,marnal head, 1mmvalves, the car was not running at the time because the guy had rebuilt the engine and was moving so he didnt have time/money to put the engine back in and redo the wiring. Finally after 5 month with the help of my friend we put the engine back in and turned the car on but it is smoking and idleing bad. my friend knowing more about mechanics than I, has no clue what it could be. he told me to try and do the break in to see if it goes away but im scared that theres something wrong and dont want to mess something up. i hope you guys can help ive been dying to drive the car and i still cant.

Wow i just looked at the florida law and it says: "(5) NOISE ABATEMENT EQUIPMENT MODIFICATIONS.-- (a) No person shall modify the exhaust system of a motor vehicle or any other noise-abatement device of a motor vehicle operated or to be operated upon the highways of this state in such a manner that the noise emitted by the motor vehicle is above that emitted by the vehicle as originally manufactured. ( No person shall operate a motor vehicle upon the highways of the state with an exhaust system or noise-abatement device so modified. " and it also says that if going lower than 35mph 72 dB A and above 35mph 79 dB A.
