Hey guys, I have a question. My car is under a snowbank so can't tell if I need other bushings. I am getting the full poly kit, but I dont know if I should get the tranny and rear end mounts. I don't want the engine mounts in poly, that would not be comfortable.

My car has 100k miles, and is an 88. What usually breaks down under regular use?

Maybe I should buy them now then sell them in the summer for more money?

almost everybody is buying the 17* degree shifter, why is that.

ok if you are taller than 5'8" tall your are ok with straight shifter, and if you are lower than 5'8" tall you are ok with the 17* degree shifter, is there any difference, probably if its for straight run/ 1/4 mile its better the 17* degreee than straight, or its just everyone taste or style.

Porn sometimes I don't konw if you just love stiring up topics or if your realy asking. I would say I got a 17* because im 6'3" and have my seat in the back seat so with the bend it makes first about where the straight is in neutral and 2nd back farther so I don't have to lean up to shift. And for me it just feels right the only time I like a straight shifter is if it's mounted far back and it's one of the little like 3 inch ones that has like 1 inch of throw that you just kinda flick with your fingers.

Porn*.......the bend has nothing to do with how tall someone is.

The stock shifter also has this bend.

They are available with a straight shaft but when you are in 1-3-5.....it is alost touching the radio, this is too far forward. I see no reason for anyone to ever order the straight shifter.

Mine's not that close to the radio about 1 1/2" from it, if that maybe more but I prefer the bend in the shifter, I wanna be like "Rusty" :D
