I just bought the car and that's the way it came, with two secondaries. I'm sourcing new injectors to get rid of the excessively rich situation at idle and light load. I'll clean the connectors and see if that helps. What other information would be helpful to help solve the problem? Thanks for your help. Greg

I'm can't get it to start. It's getting spark so I don't think it's electrical. It has two secondary injectors and runs very rich at idle, 10.0 and 14.5 under load. I've checked the vacuum hoses and found nothing. Could it be plugged injectors? I forgot to mention the fuel pressure gauge is showing 35-38 lbs. Thanks for any help you can provide. Greg

My driver's side shoulder harness won't go back in the locked position. The motor runs but nothing moves. Before I was able to manually push it back but now even that doesn't work. Is it fixable and if so where can I find the parts? I've looked on oemmitsubishiparts.com. No luck. Or is it better to go to manual belts? I've had a post up looking for manual belts but no response. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Greg

Someone might want to take good look at this car. Get it before it goes outside the club. You can spend a lot more money to get to this point than he's asking. I bought his white 5-speed but had a hell of a time deciding between the two. The pearl paint job gives that little bit of flash to catch the eye. This car has been babied and it shows throughout. Get in touch with him. You won't be disappointed.

Has the price changed since the transmission was rebuilt? Has anything been added or deleted on the car since your original post? I know you can't say with absolute certainty, but do you think the car would have any problems making a 9 hour trip to its new home? I sent a PM but it showed being blocked. I back it out of the garage, it's running fine. I leave an hour later, it's running rough. The boost gauge is at -20 PSI at idle and slowly rises as I give it more gas. I can't feel the turbo boost even when the boost guage gets to +7 psi. It feels rough the whole time. Any ideas? Thanks, Greg

Still available 1988 Starion 162,900 miles on body Engine rebuild has 25,000 (per previous owner) Sunroof 8" & 9" in excellent shape 205/55R (front) 245/50R (rear) 95% est. tread life Red & black cloth interior Red paint is in good shape per body shop friend Starts with the first hit of the key Runs strong MSD coil New rear calipers and rotors Air dam is in good shape (small amount of cracking at the corners) 5-speed What's wrong: Suspension shows it's age Power steering leaks a little Rear spoilers need to be painted (the paint bubbled so they've been soda blasted to remove the excessively thick paint) Rocker panels have rust (the side skirts have been removed but are in decent shape) Some rear interior panels need to be reinstalled Only 3 small dings on the left quarter (compliments of wife, daughter, grandkids) Air conditioner does not function The car needs more attention than I can provide it.
