Turbo Cary
I am looking for where to buy a set of gaskets for a MK1 exhaust system. I emailed him but he doesn't have any available. Has anyone ever run into this issue or knows a generic replacement? It is a 3" 2 bolt flange

Turbo Cary
Would the Grimspeed gasket work for the whole exhaust or only the downpipe to mid pipe? Or if there is an option from a local parts store?
importwarrior
you probably need to take time and measure your gasket sizes needed on your exhaust since this is basically a custome exhaust and then search for them on the net. grimm speed has many different sizes among other performance shops or vibrant performance. techboy
I've always used Vibrant Performance that Import just mentioned ^^^. They have a huge selection of exhaust gaskets. I'm not personally familiar with what the MK1 flange looks like, but if it's just a standard 2 bolt, 3 inch dia., flat - they'll definitely have it. I was thinking about buying a MK1 midsection, but I'd have to cut his flange off and weld a new one on. I already have a custom downpipe and I can see just on eBay pictures it's not gonna work with my setup.
