Burton
You guys are funny. Yeah, the engine's old, rusty and been outside, but it's ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS. I've seen long blocks only go for $300. It also comes with alt, AC comp, steering gear box, front subframe, yada yada yada. Shame I had to come back here after a year to defend my $100 engine.
JohnnyWadd
I know its Mark's. The subframe underneath is worth 100 bucks for the lower control arms and relay rods. The block might (most likely is) be rusted tight if it got water in the cylinders. Rings rusted to the cylinder walls. You know at least two valves are open so rain and dew and dirt particles and little bugs are filling the cylinder with all sorts of corrosive stuff. I would pull the aluminum timing cover sell it for 45 bucks or sandblast it, pull the rear seal carrier and sell it , same with the valve cover and intake. Guest
Man, I've paid more than that for just a crank shaft! Someone local should jump on that.
