  1. Best of luck to you. As Ive recently had a job change as well i can say that stick with whatever you decide for a little bit. I was regretting my decision for the first few days but glad i stuck to it. If you have to look into other industries take a look at tile work. As in tiling walls, floors, showers, etc. It may seem odd to suggest but tiling is an art and a science these days. I am assuming you enjoy working with your hands and your work is top notch and im sure your work ethic is similar so it may be something you would enjoy and make a good wage on. Working with some of the waterproofing tile membranes and large format tiles has really changed the way people have started to do work. I was extremely difficult for me to find a person/company who would work with the large tile i purchased for a recent bathroom remodel. I started to do more research into tiling as i was thinking i would have to do the work myself.

  3. This would make a great T Shirt or bumper sticker.
  4. So years ago, there was this Eastern European gentelman who had his entire car done by TEP. I recall scores of members were like "dont do it". He ended up going with them and was extremely dissapointed with the results. To the point he may have sold his car. Did TEP ever make it right? It was like 15-20K worth of work if memory recalls. Anyone rember his name....Wilber or Uber or something like that.
  5. Sorry no pictures. Dash is still currently in. I just removed the carpet, seats, console, hatch area. I really think you could do the dash yourself. Did you do a search on the process?

  7. Is it the microwave stuff or the range top? I always burn the the range top stuff.
  8. I can kind of see how you may think they would be gross. It kind of depends how they are put together. For me a fish taco has to be made a certain way. I prefer corn tortillas, non breaded fish, and a crunchy vinegar type slaw on top. I dont like the the mayo based stuff some places use. I dont want fried fish with tartar sauce in a tortilla.
  9. For me it was The Corner Restaurant in Kansays City, MO. Sooo good. Light, crispy and fluffy biscuits with spicy sausage gravy. If youre in Kansas City you got to try it.
  10. Don't all turbo charged cars "suck".
  11. Where are you located? I'm on a mobile device so it doesn't show. Thanks
  12. Dont forget if you are carrying a firearm to check what is legal in each state. Passing through a state and staying overnight, even in a hotel, may have different laws. If you do take a good amount of cash have a record of where you got it. Cops can "confiscate" it unless you can prove you legally obtained it. No offense but wouldnt Nashville be a good place to sight see? Your driving all around it but not through it.
  13. I don't think the street races are still going on. Not for a few years. Mustangs and camaros as far as the eyes could see.
  14. That "thanks" at the end of the above sounded pretty bad. I literally ment I appreciate all the info and help. No sarcasm intended.
  15. Would you mind sharing the brand of padding you used? I'll be doing the same at some point. Are you using replacement carpet or just cleaning up the original. I think this is going to turn into 87redcat's carpet install pretty quick. Thanks.
  16. My interior is out. The dash isnt yet but will be shortly. Im wondering if i should paint the interior metal of the car. The exterior will eventually be painted. Maybe in the next few years. The purpose of my car is to drive and enjoy. No show car. I will probably be putting some sound deadening material inside before the interior goes back in. Is there any reason i should paint the interior metal?
  17. A few years ago, when my son was born, we looked into these for a new family car. What i read at the time suggested the AWD models has very poor "off pavement" capability. Obviously they are for any real type of off roading but it seemed that driving anywhere off pavement was not recommended. Depending on the size needed you may want to take a look at the Audi Q5. Seems to have great reviews year in and year out. Oddly the larger Q7 had poor reviews. My coworker just bought a new Honda pilot. Looks nice. No real experience with them.
  18. I am looking into building an earth sheltered green house. I have a hill in my back yard and i want a greenhouse so an earth sheltered one seem like the most logical idea. Any build or had built or just plain know much about earth sheltered greenhouses. Yes, i did try the search function but couldnt come up with anything.
  19. Could I get the company name from you. PM if you prefer. Would you mind sharing the cost?
