TexasQuest
Had to re-tap and helicoil the bottom-middle exhaust stud to 10mm. I got some 10mm studs but they're 48.5 mm long and there's no clearance. The shortest I found were 40mm, is there any shorter length studs out there? TexasQuest
Any tips on cutting them? I've had bad luck cutting bolts and studs in the past, boogering up the threads.

TexasQuest
I've been curious about using hi temp thread locker on the exhaust studs since they like to come out. Thanks.
hippynerd
Grind a nice 45 degree bevel on the end of the stud after you cut or grind it. You can also just chase the last thread with a file to clean out any burr, but the bevel trick works great.
