Turboat
New Video As Of 10 Minutes Ago. Battery Voltage Only, Car Wasn't Running, Fogs Were Off. http://youtu.be/TGu7ro7wfiU There so bright it messes with the camera, it tries to over compensate for the brightness of the bulbs. Video doesnt do justice. Each license plate bulb is 150 lumens. So if I'm in the middle lane of a 3 lane interstate both right and left woodlines are lit up, thats how bright just the plate bulbs are. Have noticed people stay out my blind spot now while driving and the people behind me wont get up near me at a stop light, each red tail light bulb is 420 lumens. Turboat
what size bulb did you use for the side markers?what blinker flasher did you end up using? Recommended to use the color of the lens for each bulb to produce a better and brighter output. If you use a clear bulb in a red lense the led produces waves of red, blue and green. If you use a red led then it only produces red waves. http://d114hh0cykhyb0.cloudfront.net/images/graphics/lenscolor.jpg Side Markers "Amber"https://www.superbri...e-base/206/923/ Front Turn Signals "Amber"https://www.superbri...ower/1326/3049/ Rear Tail Lights x6 "Red"https://www.superbri...ower/1166/2761/ Led Flasher "Is Silent so it doesnt click"https://www.superbri...lasher/781/835/ License Plate "Cool White"https://www.superbri...r-led/884/2191/ Reverse "Cool White"https://www.superbri...ower/1513/3519/ Front Markers Between Turn and Fog "Cool White"https://www.superbri...ower/1563/3624/ Third Brake Light "Red"https://www.superbri...ower/1563/3622/ Ashtray Bulb "Dont use exposed board version, tried it and killed it, Used this one instead"https://www.superbri...-base/227/1062/ Both Doors and Dome "Tight Fit"https://www.superbri...stoon/238/1129/ Edited April 7, 2014 by Turboat
Turboat
Some of the above leds are a tight fit going into the housing like the front markers between the turn and fogs. Be very careful installing them so you dont knock off a led from them. The front markers between the turn and fogs were probably the tightest of them all but they will go in with some careful sliding thru the hole and turning. No they dont touch the glass. Turboat
Nice build on the car and the upgrade on the lighting everything looks nice and cleanand well thought out. On a side note your missing a bolt from the water pump pulley, and how did you do the datsun z brake mod? All the bolts are there, pic was taken while installing the pulley. At the time I was reinstalling everything from repainting the engine bay. Datsun Z Brake Reservoirs are a direct bolt on to our master. You have to use a abs delete line as the stock line wont clear the containers. Edited April 7, 2014 by Turboat
creakyjoints
Nice parts list. What kind of power are you making?
Turboat
Nice parts list. What kind of power are you making?Needs a retune as there is question if the Centerforce was slipping on the dyno, currently 300/330. Centerforce DF was missing 3 sections when it was pulled out and replaced with a Sprung CC-Stg 4. Also the DF was a 225 while the new CC is the 240mm. Turboat
The DSM Clutch Master Reservoir is also a Direct Bolt on to our clutch and brake masters if you prefer this style. http://www.lancerproject.ca/images/NewClutchMasterCyl.gif Friend also followed and used the Datsun Z Containers on his car

creakyjoints
Yeah that clutch is toast! Is there a functional reason for changing the reservoir?
Turboat
Cleaner, to be different, no more rubber hoses, easier to see which pads are lower due to fluid level from each container, if the back master seal goes bad and empties the rear you still have the front full of fluid. Turboat
No more spilling brake fluid container to replace clutch master.

Turboat
What year z for the resivoir. The ones I have "not sure if they come with the caps, you would have to ask them"http://www.zcarsource.com/brake-fluid-reservoir-front-brake-large-240z-260z-280z-72-76-new_8_55957_49724.html There are different style ones like these below, these havent been tested for so I dont know if they would work cause of the lip that goes around the outer edge. http://home.earthlink.net/~zcarfan/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/14.jpg Edited April 8, 2014 by Turboat
