I've seen that car before...just can't remember where.

Super Street?? I think I still have that issue somewhere. It sounds like its being sold through a third party. I wonder what happened to the original owner...

1987 Mitsubishi Starionmanual transmission Collectors, racers, drifters, Japanese racing enthusiasts, here's a rare find:

Mitsubishi made very few of these, and there are almost none left. This was one of the 1987 Mitsubishi Starions that they tricked out to compete with the Mustangs of their day. 350 hp, turbo trigger, roll cage, more modifications to the motor than you can imagine.

This car was obviously someone's baby. The original owner installed after market stereo, dvd player, light effects, the list goes on. For many years, this car was raced - sponsored by Bridgestone Tires, and written up in various racing magazines more than once. A mounted magazine article serving as an example of how significant a vehicle this once was in the racing world comes along with the car.

Everything works, this car has been babied. The leather still looks flawless. The body is as close to perfect as it can be. The original Bridgestone sponsor decal is still applied. It's not only a blast to drive, it's still a head-turner. An onlooker recently asked me if it had a "flux capacitor," (for those of you who saw "Back to the Future").

It's old enough and rare enough now to be a collector's item. The last insurance policy valued the car at $16,000, and all the documents are available. It has high miles, but that doesn't take into account that it only has 15,000 miles on a brand new motor. This car is ready to go. Must see and drive to fully appreciate.

First $9.5k OBO takes it!

I've seen that car before...just can't remember where.

I was wondering if anyone else has seen it before. It looks like it may have been well known at one point.

Super Street?? I think I still have that issue somewhere. It sounds like its being sold through a third party. I wonder what happened to the original owner...

thought that was called the silver ghost. he also had a white one too all done up.

think his name is Tony??? not sure. think he was in jail for something for a while.

I thought the same thing about it being sold through a third party when I read the car was "obviously someone else's baby". It doesn't seem like your typical ad from a private seller.

. For many years, this car was raced..........................Everything works, this car has been babied.

You saw it advertised on here for 12K little over a year ago. If it was not sold, & this is a new seller. It's in the same area as before. It does have history. (Just checked my files... the contact # is different, however the area code is the same.) May not be the same seller? Perhaps sold, & being sold again? I may contact him just to see what's up if anyone is interested. I accrued quite a bit of info on the car last time around, if anyone wishes to PM me, I can share.

That car was featured on TURBO MAGAZINE back in 1997. The owner also had a white 88-89 model automatic transmission that he inherited from his father. It was beautiful, specially the engine bay....and it looked better without those hideous BF Goodrich emblems on the sides...

Think his name was

Tony Waldrop

Probably spelled wrong.

Tony had all the work done originally to the car if my memory serves me correctly. (exception DVD/stereo system, & rebuilt engine)

the car was originally owned by a guy with the last name of Kirsch.then it was sold to Tony, and he was a mechanic at National City Mitsubishi, and then he tricked it out. I spoke with both previous owners and the car has about $60000 worth of work done to it.Why did Tony go to jail ?

i was actually considering this car. i am sure someone here has nicer cars they would be willing to sell for 10K though. and i have no need for a cage.

i bought my last conquest from tony a couple years before he went to jail. i never had any major issues with the car, mechanically it was great and it was very clean. He did misrepresent the overall visual condition but it really wasnt that bad from what i received, he knew how to work on these cars and always used OEM parts when ever possible (he got them at discounted prices). i wonder if there is any verification on HP and Torque.
