I get you. The first starion I bought I drove about 3 and a half hours one way. It wasn't that I regretted buying it, but I could say part of the reason why I splurged was because of the drive and it would've felt like a waste if I just looked at it.

Yeah it seems like a good deal. I've rarely seen any fijis for sale in socal. Let alone an 89 with low miles and for that price. I'm in the San Fernando Valley which is about an hour away from Ventura.

It was a great turnout. It was nice seeing some familiar faces and meeting some new ones. Definitely a new record of how many starquests I've seen in one spot.

I feel you man. This is my second MOD without a mitsu to show up in. First one, starion was over heating. This year I just haven't found another starquest. But like ucw said, take a different car. I took my daily beater last year and I'm taking it again this year. As long as I get to see other starquests I'm good. Hopefully third time's the charm next year. Also, I'll be at that In N Out around 5ish.

I'm in Panorama City. If you valley guys plan to meet up then I'll wake up early for that. I'll most likely be in my Infiniti though.

My friend sent me these pics on Friday the 18th. He said he saw it on the 110 freeway. I think I saw this same car months ago driving on the 101 going north. My friend said he "punched" it and if it's the same red one I saw, it sounds nice. I'll be going again this year. Except I won't be showing up in a starquest unless I find the one I'm looking for between now and the event lol.

I was wondering if anyone else has seen it before. It looks like it may have been well known at one point. I thought the same thing about it being sold through a third party when I read the car was "obviously someone else's baby". It doesn't seem like your typical ad from a private seller. lol

I understand where you're coming from. It made me upset when she told me the story about why she's selling the car and when she told me if the hood sold separately, she'd sell the car to a junk yard. However from what it seems like, she told everybody something different. She told you two that the car was going to get junked and she told chassispuke that the whole car sold. I never talked to her again because she never replied and I lost interest either way since I'm looking for a widebody 88-89.

It was already stated above by chassispuke that the whole car was sold, not just the hood so there's nothing to be pissed about. She told me there was only two guys interested in the WHOLE car while there were a lot others asking just for the hood. Obviously she lied about something but in the end the whole car sold and like I stated before I'm glad it sold as a whole.

You're right. Thinking back and looking through the texts, she did mention two guys who were interested in the whole car. Well I'm glad she was able to sell the car whole.

She told me nobody made her offers on the car, just the hood. She also said once the hood sells, she's selling the car to a junkyard. I don't know if the guy who bought the car is a member on here though.
