93 GSX TURBO
I know these are not conquest parts but I did some work on the GSX to clean up the engine bay. Painted the heat shield, oil catch can and the valve cover. I picked up the valve cover as a spare from the dsm I got the blow off valve from. I used paint stripper and and coated everything in wrinkle black. http://i724.photobucket.com/albums/ww244/partsturbo/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpsa06884ec.jpghttp://i724.photobucket.com/albums/ww244/partsturbo/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zps718fdffa.jpg Edited June 5, 2014 by 93 GSX TURBO
93 GSX TURBO
Here's all of it put back together. 93 GSX TURBO
I got the car back and ready to finish up some other things. Different paint color but I like it. There's a couple of things here and there have to be fixed but it's another step closer to being finished. http://i724.photobucket.com/albums/ww244/partsturbo/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zps0e1ecbab.jpghttp://i724.photobucket.com/albums/ww244/partsturbo/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zps4363d189.jpghttp://i724.photobucket.com/albums/ww244/partsturbo/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zps3b5490d8.jpg Edited July 30, 2014 by 93 GSX TURBO

93 GSX TURBO
Got the new turbo in today and some of the gaskets. Now I just have to order the jet valve delete kit and oil cooler washers and it ready to go in. http://i724.photobucket.com/albums/ww244/partsturbo/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zps41040db9.jpg http://i724.photobucket.com/albums/ww244/partsturbo/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpsdfc56532.jpg
93 GSX TURBO
Got the turbo off today and found a couple of issues. Someone's has been in here before since te manifold gasket looked aftermarket and a couple of bolts nuts didn't match. I started not to take off the manifold but I figured I might as well not half tail the job since I'm in there already. I found that the #4 exhaust port had blown the gasket due to the stud that missing and also there's a crack between the #1 and # 2 runners. I'm going to weld up the crack and then do the stress relieve mod on the manifold. http://i724.photobucket.com/albums/ww244/partsturbo/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zps3c340c3b.jpghttp://i724.photobucket.com/albums/ww244/partsturbo/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zps10c0411c.jpghttp://i724.photobucket.com/albums/ww244/partsturbo/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpsd05ae352.jpghttp://i724.photobucket.com/albums/ww244/partsturbo/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpsc8c5e911.jpghttp://i724.photobucket.com/albums/ww244/partsturbo/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpsf7dcb6ba.jpghttp://i724.photobucket.com/albums/ww244/partsturbo/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zps648f46fa.jpg Edited August 3, 2014 by 93 GSX TURBO
93 GSX TURBO
I also refinished the center piece in between the tail lights while the pb blaster worked its magic on the manifold studs. A couple of coats of black plastic paint and a couple more of clear coat. http://i724.photobucket.com/albums/ww244/partsturbo/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zps2e6d3274.jpg Edited August 3, 2014 by 93 GSX TURBO
