TexasQuest
Is there anywhere on the firewall I can run a boost gauge line thru? I really don't want to drill a hole and put a grommet if I don't have to.
Speedy2222
i ran mine through where the speedo cable goes through if i remember correctly, think i jammed a screw driver thru to make a start than fed the line through.
speedyquest
You are not going to find an "easy" place to run it through sadly. Your best best is to find an already present grommet and feed your vac line through there. But be wary to not have it get pinched. Allen
TexasQuest
What grommet would you recommend running it thru?
button
poke a hole in the heater core grommet if you are using the hard type small line.if you are using squishy line, get the harder line, because the squishy stuff will collapse during vacuum and may stay squished, especially if it is ran near something hot. aknorthstar
If you removed the a/c unit inside you can use the bolt hole or thru the plug http://i614.photobucket.com/albums/tt230/gguy84/DSCN1119_zpsbb51e3ce.jpg Edited August 18, 2013 by aknorthstar
TexasQuest
LOL that's a picture of my car from the a/c evaporator how to. I'm gonna use that hole for the wideband since it's near the exhaust.
CaliConquestAlex
I ran nearly all of my MPI wiring through there.
jszucs
You could pretty easy run it down the hole in the fender well too.
joey_crandall
The bracket for the cruise control cable on the fire wall, the bolt hole goes into the cabin, that's where I ran mine through
TexasQuest
I ended up running it thru the hole next to the firewall plug that is pictured. I had enough vacuum line to run it all the way around.
