eclipse Posted October 14, 2013 Report Share Posted October 14, 2013 How could this intake work, if the injector is spraying the fuel on the wall? Injector tip has to be in the runner, not 3-4cm from it. Have you done flow test with the injectors working?From the pictures it seems that the fuel will drip in to the runner and then will run along the wall in to cylinder. Don't take that the wrong way, but there have been WAY worse designs from the factory. Ever had a stock starion or conquest? At idle, fuel sprays onto the throttle plate, then gets sucked past, and into a square bowl with two opposed holes that it can decide to travel through. Then those holes divide once again, one turning left, the other turning right. Finally, the fuel gets to the port where it hits the back of a valve. If the valve is closed by the time the fuel gets there, it'll stop and make a pool until the valve opens again. So if you think the fuel will have problems getting into the engine, you are mistaken.
