ghinckley68
You could just build it up with fiber glass body filler and then go over it. It would not look to bad that way.
dmyers151
I'd oversize the hole an inch or so all around, clean up the edges, radius the corners, and leave it.
boostdquest89
A new hood would be my way out, you can buy one pretty cheap.... I have two extraslol @ my sig pic without a hood.... Chad-
mr-starion
Man welding that is near impossible, your better off with a new hood, you would have to deal with all kinds of warping, fibreglass is always a temporary fix and would take many hours and you have the risk of it cracking. Good luck, Danny

Technology
Rivet on a piece of aluminum to cover the hole and tell people your girlfriend hit the hood with an axe and that's how you repaired it.
89BananaQuest
I dont think he is going to be able to just cover the whole i think he needs the clearence. I mean at that point i would just make the edges smooth. Hell its gotta be some kinda benifit to havin all that air blowing over the pipe, if not we wouldnt have intercoolers.... boostdquest89
I thought u just bought the car and they had something going on under there..... In your case, I would buy one of Marks cowl hoods. If money is an issue, I'd just do what these guys say and rock it.Chad-
