JNZTuning
Thought that I'd post this here in case anyone was interested. I have it on Craigslist right now and will leave it up there for a week. After that, it goes on Ebay. <copy/paste from the CL Ad below> 1988 Conquest TSI With only 48,000 original miles! This is not a misprint! This car was purchased from the original owner who bought the car and shortly afterwards had kids and decided to park the car. The car was then only started and moved around their parking area for the next several years. I purchased the car and performed the following maintenance: --All New Synthetic Fluids (Motul Brake Fluid, Redline Gear Fluids, Mobil One Engine Oil)--New Front Brake Calipers and Pads and Rotors--New NGK Sparkplugs--New NGK Sparkplug wires--New Valve Cover Gasket--New PCV Valve--New Oil Cap Gasket--New Fuel Filter--Flushed fuel tank (although it was clean and rust-free inside)--New Air Filter--New Tires (Hankook Ventus V12 Evos)--New Rear Brake Pads and Rotors--New Swaybar End Link Bushings--All new Belts--New Front and Rear Wipers--New Thermostat The car drives like I remember these cars driving back when they were new! The turbo has no play, and spools instantly. The car handles great and accelerates as it was intended to from the factory. All of the power options (Steering Wheel Radio Controls, Digital Climate Control, etc) work correctly. Air Conditioning is ICE COLD and is the original factory refrigerant. This is a true "Survivor" car! $6500, located in Hatfield, PA 19440 More High Resolution Photos of the car can be found here: http://s127.photobuc...iginal%20Miles/ IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TWO LINES CAREFULLY IF YOU WISH TO CONTACT ME ABOUT THE CAR: Please Call 610-Five One Three-8232 for more information or to schedule and appointment to view this gorgeous car! If you choose to contact via email, please make sure that all emails are sent with the subject line of "Conquest For Sale" so that it doesn't get deleted as the typical Craigslist "Is Item Still Available" spam messages. Thanks! Edited May 30, 2012 by JNZTuning

I wish that I were in CA trying to sell this thing. The whole classic-import thing out there is getting off of the ground pretty strong. We'll catch up on the east coast in a few years... I wish I had more space/money. I'd be just storing this thing and taking it out a couple times a year.

Coke
Nice car. But I have noticed it's been repainted. Overspray on the muffler, and some overspray under the rockers, plus it's missing the IMPORTED FOR CHRYSLER badge as well. The paint job looks outstanding...but I don't think it's 'original'. Very nice car. Nice find.

Very nice car. Nice find. "Original Miles", I.E., not rolled over odometer, not a laundered title, not a restoration with the odometer reset, etc. The car was repainted in the late 80s/early 90s by the original owners. Story was that they were following a gravel truck that basically sand-blasted the front end. They took the car back to the original dealer (who had both Chrysler and Mercedes Dealers) and had the insurance work performed by the Mercedes body shop. For 20 year old paint it still looks phenomenal. The car still even has the cadmium coating on most of the parts under the hood.
JNZTuning
Who's car is this .... is this Josh or Paul ... or another? Both actually. We picked it up with intentions of doing a 4G swap on it, but after getting it back and looking it over, we just can't see cutting this thing up. Once sold, we'll probably pick one up that's not in as good of shape to play with.
1989STAR-ESIR
Looks like mine. But nice and it drives... instead of buying my starion I should have just wasted the money on partying. lesson learned
verde2002
Does the car have any accidents in its history? Have you ran a Carfax report? It might be just from the pictures but the passengers side front panels look a bit misaligned.

We'll catch up on the east coast in a few years... I wish I had more space/money. I'd be just storing this thing and taking it out a couple times a year. Just opened up the bucket, nice pics. Not that it matters that much to me; but as the prices are going, it would seem mine is finally reaching almost what I paid for it some years back when the economy was strong, & prices much higher. Even though I paid "Top Dollar"... & use to think I went a bit overboard, I've readjusted to the thinking, it was a good move. GLWYS

I don't think we've ever formally met, but I'm a long time friend of Erik and Joe's, so I "know" who both you guys are. You guys had a white one at the shop years ago didn't you? I have a Starion w/ original 58k on it, but I'm rebuilding the motor right now - it was blown when I got it. It's not quite as nice as what you guys have, but it's pretty nice. Maybe when I get the motor back in and driveable (soon) I'll swing down. If you guys still have car at that time, in a month or two, we can work out a deal of some sort? Just throwing it out there. JNZTuning
Can't wait to see this car in the metal when Alid brings it home, it will look good cruising with my 59k mile Sapporo! I'm glad it's going to someone like Alid. These cars are hard to find in good condition anymore, and even harder to find in good, stock condition.
