Frenchi934
im thinking that its likely just a ripoff of the d2 housings with their own cheap inserts inside. But who knows..
strang3majik
Many strut companies actually buy their components from the same people and paint them their own colors and sell them. There was a big stink on ClubRSX.com that some guy did research and found a whole bunch of incriminating information on Skunk 2, which is nothing more than a trading company from Taiwan. A bunch of coilover and cam companies simply buy from them, etc, and they buy from a manufacturing plant in based in Taiwan. Anyway...it was a whole incriminating thread that went viral that ended in the banning of the guy, and skunk2 made a big deal offering a reward for people to reveal his identity and personal information, etc. Yea...so...for all you know, D2 are the same thing as these, painted a little differently. Or maybe even these XYZs are the originals. But, basically, do you really think theres that many companies out there making the same thing for a bunch of different cars for roughly the same price? Frenchi934
well considering one of the members here helped develop the setup for D2. im willing to bet that they are the originals..
Komeuppance
They are the same as D2's/K-sport/whatever other rebrand... original "name brand" doesn't really make much difference, only in the color scheme. -Robert

Frenchi934
has anyone taken measurements of the d2 housings etc and seen if koni or anyone else makes "higher end" inserts that will fit?
Woody
I would say, you know the D2's work. Stick with what works.
creakyjoints
Not to burst anyones bubble but alot of products are only manufactured by a few companies and then sold by various companies. LCD displays and Audio products are two biggies.
tg118
same manufacturer, but different quality specs for different companies, but being the same price hmmm... might be as good as d2,or someone trying to make a buck off the followers
D-VO
Once there's an existing tooling setup to run parts, it becomes highly unlikely that a second tooling setup will be created at a competitor's company. The downside is, everything's the same. The upside is, everything's the same. If they look like the D2's, it's likely that they were made off the same tooling/machines.
