Non pop up HID headlight conversions..... Feeler

So after a solid year of testing, I'm thinking about possibly offering my headlight conversions to the sqc community.  Now that I've got a tig welder I can make them better than my set.  I could possibly offer different configurations and designs to fit the individuals needs.  Im going to work on a stock car to try and make them as "bolt on" as possible.  However, cutting will be required.  If your afraid to do this to make your car look better, these are not for you.  Pricing can very depending on what you want.  I would be using Acura tsx projectors, and oem HIDs. Among other projectors I have laying around.   Here are some pics...

Along with aesthetic improvement also comes weight savings.  I will get exact numbers when I get back home next week.  Paint wise, I would be able to color match the lid based on a paint code, or leave them primer. Since they are very time consuming, pricing is somewhere around $600 plus shipping, for the pair all done up.  Everything included, built to your specs.  This can vary like I said, depending on what you want inside of them.    This is only a feeler to see who's still interested in a set.

You can have any color hid you want its just a bulb. I could do lens colors as well, but it will effect brightness.

This is a few months out as it is, so you got time.

Good find on those lights, there still needs to be a min distance between the lights and the lens for heat reasons.

It would be the area under the rad support. I'll know more when I get home and can check out a stock car.

The only part I would need is the lid. It would be better/cheaper if I didn't have to source them.

oo ok. makes since seeing as how your building your own housing and such. i personally wont be able to get a set till around the summer. if i can even get my car running by then but when i do get it running im deff interested. just dont count me as a 1st in line buyer.

john how does it feel to build something everyone sorta drools over? from us wanting your headlights to your wide-widebody to your ls1 swap. everything you touch on your car seems to get the community's eyes popping and people scrounging for money to have parts like yours. how does that feel? to accomplish so much in the sqc community?

Ron B, it's cool man I just wanted to make my car a certain way, I haven't really provided much to the community, other than what I did and how I did it. There are much more talented people than myself on here that bring a lot more to the community. We'll see how this works out when I get back home. I'll post a few sketches later of some more details.
