  1. I’ll take the turbo if you still have it. Thx
  2. My air dam arrived a couple days ago safe and sound. Thanks for the good business ethics. I'll get a hold of you when I'm ready to commit to a set of D2s. Thanks!!!
  3. This isn't photoshop, it's the real deal. http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/g362/unix88/photo_zps381a6cc2.jpg http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/g362/unix88/sqwheels1_zpsd6a612dc.jpg
  4. Ok here is my reply. Too long of a story to tell so I will deliver the facts. I don't believe in this type of communication but here it is: The car was advertised on craigslist. The first time I met the seller is when I flew in. After the car failed I did some research and found out that this car had issues before it was sold. The following thread proves that. This car had metal shavings in the oil and had low compression. http://www.starquest...topic=93914&hl= The motor had trouble starting before. I was informed by the owner that the starter and ignition were replaced trying to overcome the problem. I have the texts saved. According to the mechanics in Wyoming (the Mormon side), the mechanic shop where the car is stored and the internet, a symptom of a seized motor is that it won’t start. I have the diagnosis invoices. I purchased five cars out of state which four I drove home and only had problems with this one. One car being a 1987 Conquest from Nashville Tennessee, as I had already owned two SQs before this transaction. I was literally praying that the car in question would make it home ok. I drove the speed limit all the way until it stauled. I had to keep the car started a couple of times while putting in gas. I had to call AAA roadside assistance three times and the last time the car was towed to a shop in Rock Springs Wy. I would have left there but needed the car as evidence. When performing the test drive the owner mentioned that he put in a racing clutch and that it was touchy. In order to keep the car started I had to give it gas but never redlined the motor. The owner said the only leak was a power steering leak ( have the proof ). The car was leaking oil, I had to top it off every stop. The oil was leaking enough for the AAA service man to mention it. I asked the owner many questions prior and I compiled the questions and answers and sent them off in an email as proof of our discussion. The car hasn’t been registered and the car is being stored as evidence in which I’m paying storage fees. If I were ever to sell a car it will have no issues and if there is any issues I would disclose that information. This ordeal cost me a lot. Air ticket, transporting the vehicle, gas in both directions, car rental, motel and five days of work.
  5. There are two sides of a story besides there are better ways to communicate.
  6. If you have any issues or concerns you can PM me anytime.
  7. Wow, I never heard of a car failing inspection due to rust. Unfortunately, body and paint is more expensive then the mechanics.
  8. I'd be interested. I'm assuming the price will be doable.
  9. Very unfortunate. People can't do anything anymore without some type of bull. I know someone who ran the marathon and he and his wife are ok.
  10. While I was jogging this morning I saw about twenty model t fords.
  11. I must admit that the clutch is an issue while cruising at the car cruises while traffic is backed up. My foot hurts the next few days and I'm a runner so it's an issue but I like the pistol grip. The hurst shifter and pistol grip get a lot of attention at car shows.
  12. I was unaware that the 68 automatics were rare. In 70 the four speeds are rare and the automatics are plentiful.
  13. I love the lotus esprit and the mk2 supra. I would like to get a 2000 some day. The lancia i'm vaguely familar with. I have a few pictures of a lancia but I don't know if it's the same line of vehicle. This example is stock and I like how they come with deep disk wheels. They use these as ATVs in Europe. http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/g362/unix88/group4fitted_zpsc97d25bc.jpg I love the 69 sport satellite. I have a friend that works at Bandimere Drag Strip and he races a white 69 sport satellite, which is immaculate.
  14. Those opels look good when dragged out or lifted: http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/g362/unix88/DSCN8746_zps13ef7ecf.jpg http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/g362/unix88/1972-opel-gt-261_zpscaf172aa.jpg
  15. No, but one's a metallic silver and another is a light blue metallic which sometimes looks close to stainless in color in certain lighting.
  16. I always wanted to drop a superbird but they are too expensive to cut up. http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/g362/unix88/super_bird_pro2_zpsa7b25b4c.jpg
  17. Nick, we're are gonna have to race, I have Technologies old car/engine.
  18. Nice sleeper mazda vid. That car looks like a fun one to drive.
  19. Good car to move moonshine in, especially in your neck of the woods. I have a few old mopar movies that have chargers and roadrunners moving moonshine. The cars of choice.
  20. An L88 would be cool. My mk2 supra frequently gets compared to a DeLorean from the untrained eye.
