I might take you up on that offer get things done faster when you free so I can use it and yes I looked into the swap many times the 240sx transmission is just a bit longer so push the motor forward and its fine and they are only $200 vs the R154 and W58 is like $800 to $1200 and they will hold the power fine

yeah that trans is tough, but ditch the POS stock radiator, and just get a 3 row alum SR20 rad from CXracing on ebay.

You did the same swap i like those what's the hp #?

Off topic question is there anyway you can get me one off those bolts or get me a copy of that

bolt on the strut bar? I bought the same strut bar but the bolt was broken in half.

The Lexus motor is such a nice choice. So smooth.

The other day I was looking at a 4.4L BMW V8 in a wrecked X5 with saliva dripping off my mouth.... Pushrod motor with a really low height.

A pushrod BMW motor? maybe in the 50's but never in an X5.

Thanks guys yeah I'm not using the factory radiator but wasn't sure which one to use and I heard good things about the trans and they are alot cheaper

I will see what I can do on the bolt man

There's supercharger options out there ;) The same motor comes in the JDM Celsior and Crown. Don't see why it couldn't be turbo'd either!

Yeah you must be right. I took a quick look and it looked very low, but must have been all the plastic. When I look for a OHC V8, I always expect to see something like a Ford 4.6 with the giant heads.
