Then it goes back in with an Ajusa HG, 1mm OS valve non jet head, and hopefully a HX35w. Also an 88 trans and one of the Comp clutches kits. Dred_85.5_TSI Posted October 12, 2010 Author Report Share Posted October 12, 2010 well time for an update: The engine is out and on the stand right now, it is getting new rod and main bearings, bsek, new seals and gaskets, ARP rod bolts, ARP main and head studs, NJV head w/ 1mm os stainless valves, Pagemos Adjustable cam gear, 83 two piece main pulley sans A/C pulley, power sterring pump, rebuilt throttle body, Mk1 3" stainless exhaust, etc....... Scott I've put 100k on my car beating the living snot out of it and have always run a Fram, no problems here. It's got 163k on a stock bottom end, sees 13+ everytime I drive it. Fram ftw.
