Well I need something for a T3 50 trim turbo... and I would like an ext. WG, Should I just have my stocker modified?

Also not even putting a brace on it somewhere would help? If not I'm going to assume (by the cracks) that there was cheap thin SS used to make these.

Yah, that's one of mine.

the treadstone is a packaing nightmare, but it's a pretty good value. I've seen one in person, probably the best one to be had in "Log" form.

Well how hard is it and what is the easiest way to modify a stocker?

These are the prices I have and here is also a mani not listed..

$213 shipped or 718 shipped BIN (of course that just absurd.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mitsubishi-Starion-Conquest-T3-Stainless-Turbo-Manifold-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem3cae2a83c1QQitemZ260620059585QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

$320 shipped BIN (treadstone)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mitsubishi-Starion-Conquest-Cast-Turbo-Manifold-2-6l-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem518eeee203QQitemZ350290371075QQptZLHQ5fDefaultDomainQ5f100

One of chads apparently

$422 shipped

OR about 130 shipped for a *blem* Mookeeh if it can be strengthened but I have been told it can't be by SQRescue

So what is needed plus the cost to modify a stocker?

" equal length T3 flanged stress relieved aluminum manifold built by Chad at SQC "

LOL

Mookeh Header = Worthless

That $718 shipped deal that looks surprisingly identical to the Mookeh = Garbage

Treadstone = Serious PITA to get all hooked up properly but a solid unit.

Turbonetics = Overpriced, severely

Never heard a foul word about Chad's header and it's awesomeness that he will build whatever you want.

Bust out the Machine tools, then the TIG welder and go to town on the stocker. Or if that's not an option a local shop should modify the stocker for way less than any other option.

or an aussie sigma turbo manifold, if you can find one. thats what i'm running on my car, with an adapter from it's T04B flange to my GT3076R.

they show up on aussie ebay pretty regularly. i can act as a freight forwarder if needed.

You should do a little more research.

Well, I do believe most of the bad stuff was him having problems getting stuff out in a timely manner, but I did also hear of some cracks here and there.

Really, I don't think anybody can make one. Seems that almost every one I've heard of cracks- some way worse than others. The Mookeeh one seems to be the worst, which is a bummer because he's one of my favorite vendors.

Seems the only ones that really seem to hold together well are custome one off pieces that somebody has built by a local shop. You can bet that in that instance "cheap" wasn't even a thought. I think if you want a good one, you better plan on spending some loot to have it done right.

Ok what is the cheapest?

Any time you start a Star-Quest project with this phrase, you are setting yourself up for failure. Very rarely is the best solution, the least expensive one. Ironically, the cheapest typically costs you the most, requiring you spend more to repair/replace/adapt an inferior part. If you can't afford to do it right, wait till you can. Spending the right amount once, is less expensive than going cheap several times.

And do you have any thoughts on one of your "favorite vendors" marketing this header as a "blem"?

Ummm, it's a bummer? I thought I already went over this. What is your point? Or better yet, what are your thoughts on it? I know you're just dying to tell us anyway.

it's a bummer

It is mainly your descriptive phrases that provide fascination. Or better yet, what is it that motivates you to shade the truth in regards to Mookeeh?

Why do you look at this completely bogus header(is there any questions lingering about this fact?)and the following happens:

Mookeh chooses the word "BLEM" to describe this header.

Burton chooses the word "BUMMER" to describe this proposed transaction.

It is clear why Mookeh acts this way.
