  1. Rosengrant, yea I bought it off Jesse. And the caliber set are open deck aluminum block. They would be great if dodge built the blocks stronger. The neons have a stronger block. Just went to Carlisle , PA this weekend. Seats were VERY comfortable to me for a 3hr trip. And I got 30mpg on the way down.
  2. Yup stock block. Its right at the thresh hold but it was tuned beautifully. Fully bolted, running AEM FIC, 20lbs with mid to low afrs (depends on weather.) Yes 2nd gear is useless, 3rd is just about as bad but fairly controllable, has a LSD. Running BFG G-Forces, $500 for two tires Most expensive tires I have ever bought. Still rock 23+mpgs around town. And knock is less than 2 on pump gas.
  3. Back in March I was getting ancy because my Ram was still getting painted. So I went shopping, and I've always wanted a Caliber SRT-4. And I was looking for low mileage one's. Prices ranged 14k+ but there was a local one for 11k with 500whp. It was 2 week old listing on craigs but then I decided to get curious and asked about it and low and behold he still had it. 54k miles 2008. Went and looked at it and applied for loan. Came back a few days later with it. And I loved it. Now I really love it. It's fast as s*** (fastest thing i've ever owned/driven). I can't upload pics from phone but search up BrownLax16 on youtube for videos of the guy who built it. Old setup mad 446whp with 61mm turbo now has a 35R with 37R wheel.
  4. Just heard this thru facebook. I'll do my best to be there!
  5. Yes Burton that's how I thought it came out. Maybe I over complicated it in my first post.
  6. Not sure where this would belong. I have searched but can't seem to find what I am looking for. I would like to know how far from the firewall and how far from the rad. Support a 2JZ sits in a StarQuest with VetteKiller's mounts. I want to swap a 2JZ in my Max if I don't have to do a lot of cutting on the firewall/rad.support. I have my Dad's bass boat to go off of the stock measurements.
  7. Get well soon and stay outta the cold/wet stuff! I had pnuemonia in 2010 right before newyears whilst at parris island. Let me tell you Drill instructors wont stop. I tried multiple times to go to medical. I went after I threw up from coughing so bad. Was in hospital for a week but eversince I have had mucus (sp?). Always coughing it up and never seems to change :/ I had that suff when I was 18
  8. Id love to V8 swap this with a 360 or 440 but I want to keep it a standard. And I find it hard to find any swap stuff pertaining to this model dakota (87-96). Because What am I to do with the driveshaft, the shifter hole if its different, the transfercase.i heard the dodge made most vehciles the same bellhousing though when I searched up swap stuff for my 08' ram. And believe I read that the : 3.7, 3.9, 4.7, 5.2, 5.9, 6.1, 6.4, 7.2 and so on share the same bellhousing, but then can my strans even handle a 360 let alone a 440?
  9. So I have a 1990 Dodge Dakota for a work truck. Had 80k on dash (broken odometer) I fixed it it and now have 87,408. Its basically my daily now as well as my Mighty Max and Neon dont run, and my 08' Ram is still at the body shop (color change). But its been a very good and reliable truck. At first I hated it its a std. Cab. So small and i can do a lot of sitting at my job... My back is not happy. Anyways aside from my front differential snapping the driver output shaft its been good. Havent found a good diff to replace mine so its been a 2wd truck since about december. Its got me through everything, and I used one set of rear tires. Once the ttans was chirping in second, now its gone away. But its a been a great truck reliable and strong, hit one deer at 25/30 and broke the grille/headlight. Second deer broke headlight surround and was run over. The only downfall is i've been slow for a while and I'm craving my boost/power addiction. And the 3.9L non magnum. Has little to no aftermarket, just like the V6 in my Ram. But I was searching craigslist. I came across a gem I never knew. I fairly local person was selling a 268/272 Cam for the early 3.9L. He supplied a part number, I searched it and I found that Mopar back in the day offered 4 Stages for the 3.9L I have found the stage 4 purple cam. So my question is has anyone ever seen a built up 3.9l with the mopar parts? I have searched and cant find anything not even youtube vids of a cammed v6. I know ill never find a full stage 4 kit but just be nice to see actual staged 3.9 wether it be a 1,2,3,or 4
  10. Ive been texting you about once a day. Still very interested in the engine. Please get back to me.
  11. 12. Looking to get a hold of a complete 2.6 Longblock minus turbo. Needs to be in good running shape, no oil burning issues or bad noises. Need a motor to throw in my Mighty Max to get it running again. Can be stock or built up. Need to hear before its been pulled. Looking to be near NEPA (North East Pennsylvania) I am willing to travel reasonable distances. Also looking for a Hydraulic clutch and pedal assembly for a mighty Max. (88').
