nomad
Just to remind everyone, the GP could be in the $1,000 range +/- $200. That is what I assume, I have no inside info on this. From their sets that they sell for other cars, it looks like it will include all four corners with camber plates. I think that we, as a group, should keep the nit-picking to a minimum as to not chase off this supplier. What I am refering to is ideas like " I can't afford all four so can I just buy the fronts and still get a hook up on price?" or "I don't need camber plates because I already have them, so can I get a cheaper price without camber plates?" If you only want part of the set up, then sack up, buy the whole thing and then sell what you don't want. This isn't targeted at anyone who has posted in this thread, but we all know this kind of thing happens on this forum.
spoolinturbo
yea, to piggyback ... theres apparently ONE GUY on these boards that calls d2 everyday asking on a status...so... i mean..i dont call your job up and ask how your projects are coming do i? i started this endeavor with d2 and im on it like white on rice so trust me whoever you are...that when its available...it will be here on sqc first. all of you guys here with interest will be added to the gp...and will be contacted individually for confirmation once the gp is up and running. And ill try and get as many sets as possible going for this! and at the popularity of this, even if it is just 8 sets...i can probably work a second set of 8 or 10 quickly to save a little bit of money for us. spoolinturbo
great work spoolin turboIt's pretty awesome how hard you're working to benefit the SQ community there are other honerable mentions out there too, theres members who gave advice on what they wanted to see in a coilover, fro was very kind to lend suspension to d2 for measurements and ect. in my eyes, the community as a whole had their hands in this. =D with all that being said...im headed in the garage now to drop the rear suspension and drivetrain! haha
chiplee
If you only want part of the set up, then sack up, buy the whole thing and then sell what you don't want. This is for all 4? Score. I for one will not flake out on this GP. Count me as 100% guaranteed in, and able to fund the deal at a moment's notice.

spoolinturbo
i build a budget haha. its a matter of what i think wheels are worth though! i think $1500-2000 is the max anyone should spend on wheels alone. anything else is just inflation haha!! well, im doing my build in a sequence, so once suspension is in and paint is laid...i will pm u and see whats going on =D

spoolinturbo
i only know the discounted price right now, ill have a final price after these 8 are gone...the discounted price is 900 buckaroos. so the final price cant be that much higher. ive had PMs from a few members backing out, although i do have 8 pms out now...im sure someone will have some reason they cant do it...but ide like to help get these 8 gone FAST showing our dedication to an outstanding job well done, and the fact that it will be a regular catalog item.
