I have a 1988 conquest that was being built for a weekend scca car / weekend warrior unfortunatly don't have it in me to finish the car as the car sits right now it runs and drives good I have probably put about 300 miles on it since I put it together ...the engine is a bone stock it runs great tho... the car has the full d2 coilover suspension , mk1 strutbars , mk1 swaybars , braided brake lines , slotted rear rotors , bronze 8 and 9 with new tires full mk1 bushing kit that's not installed yet.. under the hood its a stock engine with what's supposed to be a 14B not to sure tho... a *DM ovc with hks ssqv , *DM radiator, msd coil, k and n filter, a hks down pipe ( one of the only ones I have ever seen ) also it comes with the rest of the full *DM hardpipe set up with *DMs upgraded intercooler never installed still in boxes ... it also has stedebani engine mounts , mk1 short shifter with a greddy shift knob , braided oil cooler lines .... the fuel system has a new genuine walbro pump with oem fuel strainer and wix pre pump filter and oem underhood fuel filter ..... the car is red and interior wise its completly gutted it has the complete dash with cluster and has some starion overlays on it with a autometer boost gauge in stock location and door panels and front seats and center console no sound material left anywhere inside all stripped the seats need to be redone or throw in some sparcos. The car has a very clean 83 hood on it and 83 tails probably one of the cleanest sets around... have pics but don't have a clue of how to upload them so if you want a pic just text me or call my numbers 619-565-8496 james p.s. the car comes with a whole lot of spareparts asking price is 2000 got about that much into it on just suspension and tires ... and could use a paint job

WOW, In reference to my spark plug thread
jdm_ef9412 replied to allen405's topic in Just plain ol' B.S.
I have had the same problems with the e3 spark plugs on my 4g64 mightymax had them for about 5 to six months then got a weird missing problem ....it turned out that one of the plugs had went bad took it in exchanged it under warranty ran good for another 5 to 6 months then had the same problem once again took them out and back to kragen and got some ngk's. And some of my money back never had a problem with plugs since then.....its been almost a year with out any problems.... on a side note the e3 seemed to be better performance wise ...and better gas milage -
Yea very true .......we need more vendors to cater to our cars ....thanks for all ur hard work spoolin making this into reality

Well put.... the 4g63 8v sirus head is what I was actually comparing the 64 head to ....with the dash head you would also need a way to open the xtra 4 valves. With the intake manifolds which flows better the 4g64 van plenum or the us 4g64 mighty max. Also would it be worth the trouble to mod a sohc 8v 4g64 sonata intake manifold to fit a rwd application. So that it could be a front facing manifold....
-
The sohc dash 4g63 head actually flows less cfm than the sohc 4g64 not to mention the combustion chamber being shaped a little different as well . It would be much better to use the whole 4g64 longblock with custom pistons ...unless somehow you could get the off the self 4g64 Twincam set to work ....I have also been thinking about this for a while now I have the dash turbo manifold and compressor ...have already fitted it to my sohc 4g64 mightymax and fits great ... I plan on getting a xtra set of g54b arp studs and use those on the 64 with customs cut spacers seeing as they are a little to long to use ... will get some pics up wensday of the manifold and other stuff
