xtremeboost Posted November 18, 2009 Author Report Share Posted November 18, 2009 I've talked to Frank several times and I have to say he really knows his stuff when it comes to turbo cars. I was considering doing a GP like this but after talking with him I realized that its not just a matter of making a big intercooler and throwing some pipes in there with it and calling it a kit. If your going to pay the money and go through the effort of doing this upgrade its worth doing it right which means designing the intercooler and piping the correct size to get the optimum power output from it. A few questions are what would the sizes be and what type of core (bar and plate, extruded tube, inner fin, etc...) would you be using? If you just want a big shiny chunk of aluminum that fills the hole in front of your car then I think you know where to find that crap. If you want an intercooler that's actually designed correctly and will make optimal power after you bolt it in Frank is your guy. When the prototype is ready let me know the final cost, I'll be needing one of these kits for my race Quest. Thank you sir you are a good man !! .. I was thinking of making some set-up now that I'm working on my own car and by doing that I can save a bit as well and keep the cost down .
