+1, great cars, I had one that took good care of me. However, I did just pick up an evo 8 recently and have never had as much fun taking the kids to school or getting groceries. A little higher maintenance, but well worth the grins.

After talking it over with the wifey, it looks like I'll be able to make it. I will be arriving either late Thurs. night or miday friday. It has been a long time, I'm looking forward to catching up with everyone. I will be haeding through Georgia on my way from FL., I'll be looking to see if there are any caravans comming from that direction. Damon 1. Well after a few years out of the dsm game I finally had a chance to buy my dream car. It's a single owner 20k miles 2003 evo8 with loads of supsension and power mods. Who's red Starion was that near Kurhs Mill raod at the service station last week in Ballwin MO. Very clean! Nice paint, rims, ride height. Great looking Starion to whoever owns it.

Check the spring length. My guess is they are 7inch front and 8inch rear. Just grab the diameter,rates, and length off your current rear springs and call Eibach to order another set but 2 inches shorter. Cut the perches and call it a wrap.

Am I the only one to motice he wore flip-flops on a canyon run? Not to say they caused it, but flip-flops don't mix well with canyon runs.

One of the things I remember most about that road is the amount of sand, dirt, and loose gravel in the corners. We're glad you're alive. There are some pretty serious drops of that road.

The road turns into a dirt road when it hit North Carolina and ther is no traffic. Pretty cool stuff Lee. I was a little bummed I couldn't hear the sound of that new motor though. Have fun guys!!

Usually that type of dicoloration is associated with running lean.

File a complaint with the CA. Dept of repairs and that shop will pooh their pants. The dept of repairs does not tolerate poorly run shops and will shut them down if they don't resovle your problems. I had a friend report problems w/ a paint shop in Rancho Cucamonga a while back and the paint shop almost instantly gave him the cash to have another shop fix it right. The bereau of auto repairs is no joke to repair shops in CA. Here's the link. File a complaint ASAP! http://www.bar.ca.gov/
