I paid for an 88 trans in early Dec and contacted Frank several times. The trans was supposed to be in the hands of his friends. The trans was never received, his friends never contacted me, and Franks has not contacted me despite numerous attempts by me via email, phone, text messages, and third parties. I have had to contact the Postal Service for a refund. This is after months of waiting for any word from him. Now it has cost me a lot of time and a recovery fee and the delay of a project that was supposed to start in early Jan. Apparently a few other members have also failed to receive purchases since he moved. I am still waiting for my refund from the USPS. They said it could take another 4-6 weeks. Before this Frank seemed to be OK. Just wanted to let people know and be aware.

I have NOT been around at all -- Minsrt just had the same issue with a crank he got from me; my guy from orlando is calling you right now ! You also have my number and no you have not called me in ages - minisrt has been able to get a hold of me EVERYTIME hes called me or texted me - like I've said I just have not been around at all - still having serious issues .

Ok We can be here going back and forth but - no Romando has NEVER once called me ! I would know if hes called me because I know him since 1994 and I sure know who he is . If you have called me it may had been once during the day which I tell everyone NOT to do because I'm not near my phone sometimes and if do not SEE your missed called it will be deleted as other calls come in .Like I said Minisrt's crank was also delayed but he would contact me after hours and pretty much I answered him back all the time without issue .Yes I must agree this has taken way too long not by my planning ! I actually had a guy living at my house that I put in charge of contacting you while I would be away and out of contact and yes he did nothing to contact you and I had no idea about it. Hayden is now in contact with you and he has the key to the house last you guys talked he says you agreed to contact him with a time and day you guys can meet up . Just contact him direct and he will take care of you . I have no bad feeling about this bil - its my fault I just left this up to someone that did nothing about it and it resulted in this . Heyden will take care of you just get a hold of him like you guys talked and he will work with you .

Issue resolved. I showed Hayden a copy of the US Postal invoice showing you had deposited the money order back on Dec 7, 2009. He helped me load up the transmission into my car. Hope things get better for you.

I have ZERO issue with someone saying that I sometimes may ship VERY slow - but trying to make it sound like I'm trying to rip someone out of $70 is pretty insane !!! I've been trying to take care of a thousand things at the same time and getting to the PO or UPS can sometime be a bit of a problem , since I had not been told I need THIS part right away I didn't think it would be a huge problem -- I sure stand corrected !!!

Maybe you misinterpreted my post... it's probably the one feedback in this thread that is positive. I can't speak for others, but my experience with our sale in late '09 was a good one and shipping was done in a reasonable amount of time.

I had purchased a clutch from Frank a-la eBay and he ws a little slow to ship , but no worries I just sent him a couple emails, then harassed him in chat . The parts did come after a couple more days in good shape, packed like he gave a s4hit as described.

 

People like frank who create things are like artists . Things like boring shipping details , 45 emails phones ringing and people actually stalking your a double SS just go with the turf.

 

I am sure that he could do better.... as could we at trusting someone who has shown more times good than bad that he is on top of his game.

well over 3 years ago i sent frank a stock manifold soo he could mock me up a header and i have yet too see a header or my manifold back soooooooooo needless to say im not impressed with his buisness practices or sense of urgency to ship parts out in a timely manner to people that need them now to put their car back on the road.

Tom its soooooooo funny that when people sometimes talk they sometimes leave out SMALL details which are SO vital to the statement they're making . IN your case you should had said that during this time you where down on your luck - more or less broke out your mind - and your car had a massive exhaust leak ; I offered to make you a manifold for like $50 or something like that . You also left out the very small detail that during this time I had cars broken into at my shop which cost me 80K total - so yeah once AGAIN TOM , sorry if my huge lost means jack to you but to wake up one day and have that lost overnight was not easy sorry I didn't deal with that lost as well you would had !!! Theres a good reason why at last I just picked up and MOVED to Charlotte N.C after over 8 YEARS of being in business in FL . when you speak please be very sure you add EVERY detail on a subject NOT just the ones which may make YOU look good . Most people that been through what I've just been through are still in a fetal position in some dark corner asking for free handouts , on the other hand I've stood tall and moved forward without asking ANYONE for ANY freebies of ANY sort- its called being a man !

Tom , the simple POINT to this story is that YOU sent ME a CRACKED useless STOCK manifold and I NEVER asked you for ONE PENNY and you NEVER gave me ONE CENT on that manifold !!!! Thats a hard fact !!!

ok yes it was cracked (but repaired ) and at the time was all i had too run my car my car set for about 6 months waiting on you before i got another manifold

 

your right i never sent you any money on header correct but offered it several times at different points when i had it

 

 

my whole point of this feedback was to just simply put in words my dealings with you
