lgarbz
I haven't decided yet. I'm not a big fan of red. I'm torn between black or silver. What do you guys thinks?
TexasQuest
You'd be surprised how good the red looks after freshly sprayed.
93 GSX TURBO
Red does look sweet when it has some shine to it. The red conquest I sold got all sorts of a attention anywhere I took if.
lgarbz
Yeah I don't dissagree, the red does look good. Red just isn't really my color. I might do some kind of black/red combo? Idk I've got some time to think about it before paint.

'87quest
The a/c ports are on the compressor..they are the old style fittings though. But I think they make adapters to use R134a Good luck with your car man! Drake
93 GSX TURBO
Thanks.Anyone have any advise on charging the A/C? besides the fittings at the compressor you may also want to change your drier. I would also take it to a shop and have it put on the A/C machine so that all the r12 is recovered, that way it doesnt contaminate your R134 Edited March 9, 2015 by 93 GSX TURBO
lgarbz
Thanks for the responses. I don't have the compressor yet. Makes sense now why I couldn't find them... do they make r134 conversion driers?
93 GSX TURBO
Any drier that you can pick up for your car these days will work. Rockauto has them for around 14 dollars and they are exact fit. Purchase a new o-ring set while your at it too. lgarbz
Made a little more progress on the quest today.some of the bumper skin bolts broke when I was removing it.initially tried using Matco left hand drill bits and extractors.Didn't have luck with that, but I was able to drill them out and tap the threads. http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o563/lgarbz/IMG_0617_zpspfs91eph.jpg http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o563/lgarbz/IMG_0618_zpsoysutojp.jpg http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o563/lgarbz/IMG_0619_zpslyomml8s.jpg http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o563/lgarbz/IMG_0621_zpss71islco.jpg Did a little rust clean up with a wire wheel and used some black primer so seal it up. http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o563/lgarbz/IMG_0622_zpsb1swvh8p.jpg http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o563/lgarbz/IMG_0623_zpse6jlq24x.jpg Not a Starquest, but I thought I'd share this with you guys while I was at it.Pulled the front bumper from my Plymouth cus it was dented.Got one in better condition I will be putting on soon. http://i1148.photobucket.com/albums/o563/lgarbz/IMG_0624_zpspcqcjijc.jpg Edited March 22, 2015 by lgarbz
