I have a 86 flatty and I am getting an 87 motor, I know the 87 uses a different alternator. I was wondering how I can convert my car to take the 87 alt cuz I heard there are different plugs?

Well today was a good day for me and the Starion. For the past five or so years I've been slowly getting the old 88 back into its prime. It's been a VERY bumpy ride. Cracked head, blown head gasket, constant overheating, blown pan basket causing a blown engine, bad turbo seals making her a chimney, idle issues and MUCH more. Today was a huge milestone for us. With a new engine with about 1k on it and a brand new alum radiator I took it for a 1 hour trip each way to the city. Both ways turned up

Hey all, my name is Brian. I am from the twin cities. I am a noob to the Starquest scene but not to cars. I am told I have a problem. I have had 20+ vehicles. Mostly Mazda, Miatas, proteges.
