Flatty McLovin
By Technology,
So, I probably made a very bad decision with this, but I just bought an 85 flat side conquest. I'll be picking it up next month when I get back to MN. I am told it will need a new piston since it doesn't have compression, but they motor's never been opened. Luckily I'm good at conquests, so the plan is to get it back on the road and operate as good as new, even if it doesn't look totally new. Check it out: (hopefully the pics resize themselves.) http://i.imgur.com/mORED.jpg http://i.imgur.co

Brake and Clutch Master cylinder seal kits.
By Shiltron,
Does anyone know if the brake master and clutch cylinder rebuild seal kits are still available for these? I know this is an ancient procedure but I'd rather rebuild my own than buy reman assemblies. I have an '88 and an '89.

By 19cturbo,
how many people have done it themselves, my holset hx35 needs a new seal. its leaked since day one. called a local diesel shop and they quoted me 180 to put a seal in it.. Just wondering if i can do it myself instead.
