My car boosts like a stud, makes me happy beyond words...but...there's something I noticed that has me wondering. I take off in 1st, pulls hard all the way up to about 4800 then pulls even harder. Usually I throttle 1st, but in 2nd I slam the pedal and it pulls super hard all the way until about 4800, then it pulls so hard it'll break loose, then 3rd it's almost scary, same damn thing. I have what I think is a normal 16G, stock bottom end and hardpipes. Any ideas what it is? or to make it k

My 83' starion is running great...expect for the fact that she is running rich at the moment and I cannot figure out why. Any input any one has as to maybe why it is running rich would be great. I am only getting about 15-16 mpg running the car easy and on the highway mostly - even using cruise control sometimes. I have a air/fuel gauge and when I am on it, it is reading rich so It seems no matter how I am driving it is running rich. Any thoughts?     -Andrew

I HAVE '87 CONQUEST SITTING IN MY GARAGE FOR 2WEEKS. I STARTED THE CAR TODAY AND THE ENGINE SOUNDS GOOD. DROVE IT THEN WHEN I CAME TO A STOP, SOUND LIKE I HAVE AN IDLE PROBLEM. THE RPM GOES UP AND DOWN. I CHECKED ALL THE VACUUM LINES FOR LEAKS, NO LEAKS. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON WHAT MIGHT BE THE PROBLEM?
