Hey guys,   I have a 86 TSI. THe car ran ok two years ago but has been sitting in my garage and has not been started for over 2years. I just tried to start is and it cranks and begins to fire up but them runs really ruff. it won't idle on its own and when I try to give it gas it sputters and revs and then tries to die. If I feather the pedal I can keep i running ( reallly ruff). if I try to let it idle it cuts off or if I give it to much gas it cuts off.   I need help. I am a novice and w

Is the TD05 a 3 bolt t3 fitting at the DP?...or will the stock exhaust bolt to a t3 3bolt turbine housing....I think they are the same.

So I took it out today. I recently got done rebuilding this thing and want to put a few miles on it. Its an 87 with je forged 40 over. The second I come into boost it falls on its face. I was wondering if this could be a failing fuel pump or a bad/improperly wired 1G MAS.   Stopped by murrays and grabbed some lucas fuel injector cleaner, fuel filter (have not yet changed fuel filter, little tired, little cold)   Put some fuel injector cleaner in it and 6 gals of premium ( giving it a full t
